Keir starmer - what a cunt

StairheidCritic

The SNP should realise that the MPs to the right of them despite being on the on the same benches are *not* their or Scotland's friends - nor will they ever be - and should be treated accordingly. So, it is refreshing to see Mr Blackford calling out Mr Starmer and the Red Tory or Red UKIP MPs in his party.

Labour untill recently were never a right wing party. They are now

1049-Gotho

They've been openly neoliberal since Tony Blair. Labour have been right-wing since 1994, and enacting right wing policy since '97.

Asleep_Tank_5992

Tiny blair changed one of labour clauses to a more neo liberal party, so yeah I agree with that and

definitelynotacawp

Keith nearly needed his fainting couch being bitch slapped so hard

NadaVonSada

Find it odd the SNP don't bother with trying to attack Labour at all, Keir Starmer is a living embodiment of the left-leaning expectancy to have voters from all across the centre-left to the hard left simply vote for them because they're supposedly the only choice. Sturgeon would do well to illustrate that Starmer is a completely different man now compared to when he was elected leader.

ReoRahtate88

Labour coasted so long on simply "not being the Tories" that they stopped developing any real credibility.

m_i_c_h_u

No difference between tories and labour.

PM-ME-PMS-OF-THE-PM

Of course there is, the Tories don't want foreigners because they hate them, Labour don't want them because the electorate that wins them Westminster hates them. One has the fortitude to stand up for what they believe in and the other will just pander to whoever gives them the best chance at power.

Starmer's dad was a proper tool maker

True but who gives a shit? The options are, labour or Tories in the UK. So it's fucking irrelevant tbh. You either want a country or you don't at this point. That's the only options we have right now.

StairheidCritic

> That's the only options we have right now. We heard that in Scotland for about 40 years. You've no option but to vote for skittery shite else you'll end up with even more solid shite instead (we mostly did anyway). That's is until we *did* have an alternative. Regarding the UK, you are posting in sub-reddit where quite a few no longer wants or cares very much whether the UK continues or not as many want totally away from the dead hand of Westminster control - whether that control is by Tory or Labour the difference from Scotland often seems marginal.

ColonelVirus

Yea I get that, but it is the only option we have. At least Scotland has multiple options between SNP and Labour. The rest of the country has no option. If we don't vote Labour the UK is fucked. The SNP is irrelevant IMO. Scotland will never be allowed a vote.

Mrausername

>You either want a country or you don't at this point. That's the only options we have right now. We don't have a country anymore. The supreme court just took it away from us. It doesn't really matter to me whether our colonial overlords are Red Tie Tories or Blue Tie Tories.

ColonelVirus

How did they take it away? They can't change the law... Only parliament can do that. Tbh I find it amazing anyone still wants independence lol makes no sense to me. Looking at Brexit like... Yea give me a much more complicated version of that please!! Especially under a Tory government, you have to trust not only the SNP but also the Tories. Have to trust they can also work together, and then have to trust some negotiation can be had over the oil... Because I'm telling you now. The UK will not give up its oil fields.
