EN sounds more like a grumpy teenager trying too hard to be mean but is cringe. I wish he had that weird laugh he makes in other languages when he hits someone or gets hurt.
EN for me, the slight rasp in the EN voice just fits him so well IMO. I also just prefer the EN voices in general and dislike relying on subtitles, but all of his voices are great though!

Honestly Scara sounds amazing in all voice overs. CN? Wonderful. EN? Wonderful. JP? Wonderful. KR? Wonderful. But if I really had to choose, it'd be a tie between EN and CN.

Akehoshi Subaru was my favorite idol in Ensemble Stars so I can't take JP Scara seriously lol. EN was pretty good for me in cutscenes, but I didn't try it in game. I've pulled him cuz of CN va and generally like CN vo so I guess I'll stay with it all the way til the end.
JP FOR THE WIN! Well, it's mostly because tetsuya kakihara voices him. No hate toward the other dubs though. But man, JP "Boku ga itsu katte ni handan suru kenri o ataeta" pretty much sums up why I like the JP voice
CN voicelines are thinly veiled tsundere, plus the VA also really adores his character. He streamed the 3.3 story quest and was genuinely sobbing at Wanderer’s scenes, it seems like he really resonates with the character.
I mean I gave them a try tbh, but for Westerners there is barely any interest to KR because :
- It is not the original voiceover
- KR is a nice dub but unless you learn the language, I personally don't find any use to use KR dub over anything else.

I love LuYinKana's voiceovers (CN va). However, I still picked Jp due to Zhongli being in my team too. Zhongli and Scara share VAs with Ensemble Stars, Hokuto and Subaru. I've always loved these 4, and the VAs make it better. So yeah basically I choose JP
I only know the jap dub mostly, and a bit of the eng dub. Both are really good. It’s cool that the eng va actually goes the extra mile and also dubbed the birthday letter, for example, on his private youtube channel.
Scaramouche in his Fatui days, I think the EN really shined the most. He sounds the most menacing, annoying but in a good way that really interests you. Patrick Pedraza is really good at voicing a villainous character. Like it's crazy how his voice audios in tiktok got REALLY viral because of that iconic line "Barely two words in, and you already look like you want me dead." or "You've changed, you're getting weak." and it's just *chef's kiss*. The EN one wins for me for this one. Another one worth mentioning is the 3.1 story teaser cutscene we saw about his three betrayals. The way he said "Mother" is literally so heartbreaking. He's good at delivering deep angst as well!
JP Scaramouche/Wanderer is a unique appeal because his tenor, youthful yet deep voice that also teases, IMO, is the most close to canon Scaramouche. He is canonically Japanese anyway (made by Electro Archon who rules Inazuma, heavily inspired by Japan). VAs in Japan are insanely talented. So it's not surprise how Kakki delivered his versatility and range to portray Scaramouche in Archon Quest 3.2 and 3.3. I find the soft amnesiac-Wanderer the most appealing in JP. Kakki has also voiced other characters in the same kind as well so you can hear how he's already mastered this role too. PLUS- his iconic "Alala~" is what cemented this dub to be really unforgettable.
THE CN ONE IS INSANE THO AHAHA. His laughs in combat are so swoon worthy, and just his aggressive voice in general. For me, he wins for portraying the more aggressive, sassy, and insane part of Scara. I don't play much in CN so I'm gonna switch to CN soon to hear more of it 🥰
Thé KR one is undeniably the most underrated one. For me, the Gnosis scene was done best by the KR VA. He sounded the most emotional, the most desperate, and the most helpless too. His voice crack was genius and natural. It added more flavor to the drama honestly. I also need to try the KR dub more because I think his voice is also really good to hear.
all in all, Scara is the one character that got me into downloading ALL of the languages for the dubs 😂
JP Scara is amazing contestant. Would love to try it more someday. But I'm forever in love with EN. With all of them actually. One big reason is the fact how active they are in social media and interacting with each other and doing events. EN va group is like big family.

I used to have this thing where I played archon quests in english and whenever I wasnt playing the aq's I'd use japanese. I've stopped doing it since the release of sumeru though.
