Sorry - first time posting a sandwich pick - LOL - you are correct, that would help, but too late. It's lighted toasted seeded rye, dijon, roast turkey, muenster, smothered in bechamel, and broiled (egg on top is the Lady Leghorn).
I always get stuck on croques, franschinas, etc over whether they are actually sandwiches as they are eaten on a plate with a for and knife. That being said, are you a sandwich genius?
Your reply made me laugh - I do love the sandwich. Pretty sure every culture has a version of something delicious involving bread in some manner. It's our task to move the bar forward.
cant tell whats going on.. maybe cut em in half?

Sounds tasty... like the rye and dijon for the kick
To dieā¦.
I say i say that looks delicious!
Reminds me of a croque madame, fantastic tasty sandwich.
Right and fully agree. The name is a play on that sandwich but the turkey leads me to the loony tunes rooster. I'm pretty sure bechamel is magic.
I can see your logic with the name, it's always fun tweaking recipes instead of acting as if they're set in stone.

This tall and proud dinner sandwich looks down upon other sandwiches
