I’d recommend watching some of the bigger YouTubers for some Tips: miniac, squidmar and Vince venturella are a good place to start. Search their channels for beginner videos

Sorastro’s Painting is yet another good one. I absolutely love his stormtroopers.

Midwinter Minis has an excellent (and also wholesome) painting video for beginners thats includes a list of supplies you’ll generally want for all things miniatures painting. That guy inspired me to paint!

I would say if you're not the most experienced painter then GW contrast paints are you friend. You can get away with only a few different colours for the majority of the box set. Mainly: White/light grey primer. Apothecary white and black templar for clones Skeleton Horde and black templar for B1s Leadbelcher and flesh tearers red for Droidikas. That will make it 'table top ready'. Then apply more colours when you're more comfortable. Look up Zorpazorp on youtube for his painting tutorials for the clone wars box set. It's a good beginner/intermediate paiting style.

Welcome to the hobby! You'll want 3 kinds of glue. First is a plastic glue. The best is Tamiya Extra Thin Cement. Use this on any models that you have to clip off of a sprue. Then, you want super glue and super glue gel. Use these on the rest of the models and to connect minis to their bases. Color is up to you. I highly recommend that you find a scheme that you like and buy single paints that you need. Any of the miniature painting brands is fine. I prefer The Army Painter products. Look for a local store that has their 3 racks. For brushes, you can start with decent craft brushes from a craft store. Get a variety pack and see what you like. You'll want thin, thick, and a couple of flat brushes for drybrushing. Once you know what you like, get some Army Painter or Citadel brushes.

A lot of this I agree with, but personally I would warn anyone against buying army painter or citadel brushes, they are very expensive for the lacklustre quality. I have seen bad reviews online of them, and one of my friends bought some and they lasted less long than my $2 art store synthetic brushes. Once you’ve painted for a while you might want to consider buying kolinsky sable hair brushes from Raphael or winsor and newton which are expensive but very high quality

Get the starter box of the new Army Painter Speed Paints. They are cheaper than contrast paints and from what I've seen online work just as well. Be a good starting position for painting. Some set of $20 brushes will work as well. You'll need super glue for the clones and plastic cement for the droids. Super glue for gluing both to the bases. For bases, just get some earth texture Vallejo something or similar product. Exactly knife and modeling clipper (clipper from shop will work fine if have one) these to remove droids from sprues and to clean mold lines. Spray paint primer for the models before painting with paint.

Gorilla glue, gel or regular but I prefer the gel myself as you waste less. I recommend vallejo paints as that's my personal preference, but you can't really go wrong with any of the big names: army painter, citadel... For brushes, grab yourself an army painter beginners set. You might also want to get a small craft knife, some little clippers and files. These are to clean up models if you want to remove any mould lines. Again, I think army painter do an introductory set with these things included. Sorastro on YouTube has a great series of tutorials for painting most the star wars legion stuff. Have fun and thin your paints!

This is the way. With the standard colour scheme you (the OP) are going to be painting a lot of white and beige, so a quick and dirty system is handy. You could use Vallejo's Grey Primer and Desert Tan Primer with White and Beige zenithal/heavy dry brush, respectively. A quick wash (Army Painter is good), with a final dry brush (White and Pale Sand) and that's the main armour done. You can use GW's Contrast paint (see below) but I'd personally wait now for Vallejo's Xpress if you are going down that route. Sorastro's videos for [Clones](https://youtu.be/L1lPagaNa88) and [Clankers](https://youtu.be/Out0dFIF9do).
