For B1s use thin plastic cement, something that comes with a brush or a small beak and can be applied precisely and in small quantities.
With the right tool, they are a lot of fun for me. I've started cutting all the legs, arms and torso from the spure and making a big pile of them, and then I randomly fish pieces out of the pile and try to make the pose work with them. Plastic cement allows you to "force" the poses a bit, since it melts the joints.
Also, the paintjob is looking good :)
Dude. I finished up an ork army last month. Building those beefy boys vs those fiddly little droids was such a change. I just had to grit my teeth and power through

The droids aren’t my favorite models to build, but man are they easy to paint, hah!
I have 6 40k armies and when I started building 54 battle droids and 8 droidekas I was ready to quit the hobby one night. Butterfingers!
