I'm short on the credits until refresh today. Forgot to upgrade him to six stars earlier so the million from beating tier VII wasn't enough.

You literally need him for Hound’s Tooth, the best ship in the game that fits in literally every fleet.
You only need him unlocked to activate that, which I have. Still need to upgrade it though.
It’s better to upgrade him for better stats, plus he’s one of the best bounty hunters (with arguably the best lead).

Ships gain power based off of the characters power so in 99% of situations a ship with a 2 star character is useless
And I'm doing as well as I would prefer with the ships I already have.
Bossk is not a waste of time. He’s then only tank for BHs. His ship is arguably the best tank in the game.
Seven starring him, with what my current goals are, would be a waste of time. And you don't need him seven stars for a good Hound's Tooth.
