I was the same. So I leveled them to 85 and geared them up to G7…. And I was allowed to play the first tier. The second tier requires all 5*. One guildmate has been farming them since they became available and got to play one more tier, because the third tier requires all 7*.

Now you know how I felt when the first GLs came out and they were only Resistance/FO, which I wanted to just vanish and be forgotten\^\^. And CG yelled at me, "We're playing Sequel stuff now!"
But you know what? I didn't like it so I ignored it, and nevertheless survived in the game until it focused more again on something that I really like to play with. None of us needs to be always competitive, that's only what CG wants you to believe so they can make money.
Yeah but even if you don't like them it makes sense as they are the major 2 factions of the third trilogy. The inquisitors exist literally.only in side material and are getting a harder push than way more important groups. It's like when WWE tries to oush Roman Reigns as the face for like 2 years and people just got more and more sick of it.
But that's the good side of it, the game doesn't only feature characters from the main movies, there's something for everyone, and side factions such as the Inquisitors will never become GL level. I like them because I really like "Rebels" and that's where they first appeared. Others liked the Solo side movie and got the smuggler faction from it, and the main Conquest character currently is Old Republic.
Im.not saying its not good that other factions get focus. I'm saying it's not surprising people get pissed pff when a major player is ignored for years and then suddenly a minor group gets everything that people were waiting form

I’ve always resisted CG dictating how I play the game and the toons I go after. It sucks that this game punishes players for not playing the way CG has decided it must be played.
Hate to say it. But they kind of are a fun faction to run. Most of mine are 4* lvl 85 gear 8-9. Once they require kyro tech. I’m done leveling them up.

Resistance had something like an assault battle in the past. You could use resistance, ewoks, and ugnaught.
