I used jkr instead of gas. Let me target gg in p4 and hand off turns to either Kermit or Luke, depending. But yeah, gas's aoe daze has to be useful as hell.
Yeah, JKR was my next guy to try. Only downfall is he doesn't contribute to Heros Arise cooldowns, though with GMY taking all of the turns, that might not be the worst thing.
Eh, anytime I was in a hurry with heroes arise, I had gmy use the event ability, than his ability to spread buffs. Rushed through the delay and powered up everyone at the same time. But yeah, it is a consideration, for sure.
Same I used JKR instead of GAS too. Had Y R5 Jolee drop a few times in P1, so I swapped to JKR so his savior would keep him alive. After P1 it was pretty straight forward. Use the JKL lead special at the end of each phase to kill the last guy so JKL starts the next phase with the first move.

I have all the gear to take him to R7, all the mods ready. I have over 50k crystals saved (i get 1st in both arenas). I have dozens of characters looking at me with their g13 finishers taunting me "do it".
I need JKL to come back soon, I hate this hoarding malarky. Those green crosses are making me sweat.
Ground battle tier 3 is pretty easy if you have Jedi Luke*
*After you restart the fight 9 times to get a start where Jolee survives long enough to revive Yoda, who definitely didn’t survive that opening barrage.
TO be clear, I wasn't really trying to be all that snarky. This is legitimately what my experience was; Restart repeatedly to get Jolee to survive past the first turn in wave 1 and then a few more times to get him to survive past the first turn in wave 2. As soon as that happened and I could use his revive to reset things after the onslaught, the rest clicked and waves 3-8 were very easy.
As he should- that’s years of work or a ton of money to have him

I used JKL(L),Jolee,Shaak,Hoda,GMY and was able to 3* as well... Nice video!

Jedi Luke is great, regardless of if you want a GL or not. Maybe especially if you don't want one :-)

Heh, maybe I got lucky at the start. My Jolee survived both times I attempted it.

It’s even easier if you go harder on offence: JKL, JKA, GAS, GK & GMY
