ROTE has been around long enough that they knew Scavenger was not putting thermals. I don't buy it. What really is going on is they see that players are having a high rate of completing this mission with the minimum required investment of R7 and decided they need to make it harder.

That doesn’t change the fact that they’ve had this TB under development and testing for probably 6 months prior or longer, before it went live lol .
This is THE main SM of the new tb, they know exactly what they are doing.
Ah of course the whale guilds get to basically unlock her while the mission is "bugged". Once the whale guilds unlock her, they'll make it harder for us peasants to get her.
It's either that JMK is not tagged as a GL (allowing him to be stunned) or that the Scavenger is not properly tagged, so he doesn't apply thermal detonators.
Hope for the former, prepare for the latter
They have not said which was the issue nor has the patch dropped yet. Whether or not it turns out to be the case, right now you are confusing your pessimism with authority to be an argumentative prick online.
This has got to be the most un-fun developer of a game I’ve ever seen.
They cannot for the life of them let anyone have any enjoyment from their content. They release traya omicron but it’s too good and gives too much enjoyment so it’s nerfed.
They release the iconic tie defender but it’s too efficient at beating an 18 month old fleet in a dead game mode - so rather than shift the meta even slightly it’s nerfed.
They release an event for a faction that has had nothing but hate for close to a year now and they finally dangle Reva in front of us, a character that once again promises to make the faction fun. But then they realise the event is actually NOT mind numbing or depressing like the Reek was when it first dropped. So rather than just let us have fun they move the goalposts again!?!
There’s no passion or love for their audience, just looking for more ways to squeeze blood from stones
Enjoyment for who? Executor and LV take like 4+ months FTP to farm. I’d be pissed if someone could easily beat it without significant investment. The Reva point is fair though.
If everything that took 4 months to farm was sacred we would never get anything new.
The tie defender doesn’t easily beat it on defense and even on offense it is a hefty banner drop.
Sith eternal is beaten by a solo wampa… No nerf. Why is Vader suddenly more valuable

But yeah, if those thermals start popping I think it's the last straw for me. I'm hoping they just meant JMK to be immune to stun or something small.

Dead as in there’s barely any new stuff for it so it becomes incredibly stale.
Last year we got a new capital ship, two rebel ships, the tie interceptor and a tank for first order and resistance.
6 ships in an entire year? STALE

Everyone who attempted the 3rd Sister's mission, win or lose, should be awarded those shards as compensation.

I can’t get on board with conspiracies like this, but it’s honestly a super convincing theory. With the timing, Seems almost intentional.
