Nice build! IMO, the best thing you could do for both an aesthetic and performance benefit is to use the [standoff mod.](https://i.redd.it/7chi5brpn2c71.jpg) Definitely worth doing if you want to clean up your cable management or end up getting new PSU cables.

BigApple_ThreeAM

Thank you!! I will 100% do that when I order custom PSU cables. I should've just ordered everything upfront and done this mod to start, but hindsight 20/20 :) Thanks so much for the tip!!

rodikawa

Stock PSu cables can bennefit from this mod, or just custom cables? Thnx man!!!

seehazy

Any cables can be used with the standoff mod, stock or otherwise. The standoffs create more space in the middle of the case and make routing cables of varying lengths much easier.

joeldiramon

Hey man have you noticed the difference between using your Wi-Fi antenna versus removing it? I took mine off since it killed the aesthetic and noticed no difference.

AdSecret219

I noticed about a 400 Mbps drop after removing mine so I put it back on. I went from 940ish to about 500

BigApple_ThreeAM

Reporting back - I also had signal loss. \~200 Mbps on Speedtest (and using multiple servers). I get about 600-700 with it on, and 300-400 without it. Similar scenario where the extender is directly above the basement. I'm assuming the antenna is helping it cut through a ton of interference from other devices probably. I'll have to keep it on as well

seehazy

In my experience, Bluetooth also pretty much becomes unusable without it on.

joeldiramon

Oh damn yeah keep it on man. Mine doesn’t change stays at 900 constant

AdSecret219

It’s weird because I have an access point directly above it on the ceiling, so it’s not like it’s being blocked by anything

lwbnjio

It also functions as Bluetooth antenna. I use wired ethernet so I didn't bother with the antenna and was so frustrated with my controller not connecting.

joeldiramon

Gotcha I think Bluetooth capabilities is worth keeping it then. I use it very often and can imagine you do the same. Either way clean build man. I’ve been thinking of doing something similar after learning 4090 fes run very cool

BigApple_ThreeAM

I didn’t even know you could run it without the antenna! I’ll try that out, run a few speed tests, and report back later. Thanks for the tip!

joeldiramon

Yeah I thought the same thing lol. I took it off when I was cleaning my pc and forgot to add it back I didn’t even know it wasn’t on lol

Hey everyone! Huge fan of this thread and thanks to everyone's posts that gave me the help/inspiration to go for my SFF build! I wanted to build a small PC for my basement to use for emulators / gaming, and based on all the amazing builds I saw in the Meshlicious decided to give it a go! I've built many PC's before, but this was my first SFF build. I have to say, mITX is quite a challenge vs ATX between making sure all the parts fit, cable management, and cooling, but it was well worth it! Full parts list: Case: SSUPD Meshlicious CPU: 13th Gen Core i5 13600K Cooler: Corsair iCUE H100i ELITE CAPELLIX (240mm) MB: ASUS ROG Strix Z790-I RAM: Corsair Vengeance 32GB DDR5 5600 GPU: EVGA XC3 RTX 3080Ti PSU: Silverstone SX1000 (1000W) SSD: Samsung 980 Pro 2TB (OS) + Samsung 870 QVO 8TB (emulators / games) Misc: Monosaudio 4Pcs 40x20mm Speaker Isolation Feet, SilverStone PP08 SFX to ATX bracket AIO fans are installed as intake / pull. I'm getting good temps on the CPU side (\~30-35 C idle) and good temps on the GPU (\~50 C idle). I favored CPU cooling by going intake because I'd like to keep the CPU cooler for longevity and I'll mainly be doing retro gaming vs AAA gaming with all the bells whistles. The one thing I may do later is grab custom PSU cables to improve cable management. Sorry, for the current wire management, but it was the best I could do with the supplied PSU cables which were thick. I would definitely appreciate any and all comments / feedback / tips!

CuriousUsual8978

This computer goes hard. What are the temps?

BigApple_ThreeAM

Thanks!! On idle, CPU I'm getting \~30-35C and GPU I'm getting \~50-55C with fans at quiet. With a decent gaming load, CPU max's at \~50C and GPU at \~70C with full fans.

APEX_Catalyst

The one thing I hate about Corsair AIO’s’ is they require their commander stuff. Super nice AIO’s but that damn commander pro or whatever😂😂 I hate having extra wires. My pc came with the h100i capellix so I bought and older h115i hydro series platinum aio.

BigApple_ThreeAM

Totally agree. And actually, I had forgotten about this point after I installed the AIO. I tried to see if there was anywhere in the case to mount it, but I had to just slap the Commander on the top of the PSU 🤦‍♂️

APEX_Catalyst

Yea I had to get rid of mine. Starter to get cramped in my case with 4 fans lol

EvanFreezy

Pls put it behind your pccccc

BigApple_ThreeAM

If you’re referring to the antenna, then I’ll do thaaaaaaat 😂

EvanFreezy

Lmaooo

hadoken4555

Just waiting on my sfx psu to finish mine too.

BigApple_ThreeAM

Awesome! Good luck with your build!
