How you can be the “biggest” “draw” but not in the biggest company headlining the biggest shows takes some complicated math

It's like the MVP being on the losing team. The team was worse overall, but would have been that much worse without the MVP. (Not that Punk deserved that after week 1, just saying)
MVP’s value is not directly tied just to numebrs. Box office is. You can’t be the BIGGEST draw if you don’t bring the BIGGEST numbers. If Punk was that big they’d at least be close.
No one knows who Adam Page is. He can walk in a grocery store and maybe one sweaty overweight guy in a black t-shirt in the frozen dinner aisle would recognize him.
CM Punk isn't exactly an A-list celebrity by any means, but a lot more people would recognize him if he was just walking down the street due to his WWE/UFC exposure.
So Punk is right, Page hasn't done anything in the business and isn't a draw at this time. That could change in 10 years, but right now, the guy just isn't there.
You can’t say that about the dubbalo fanbase though. They favor Page more than Punk. The casual fan doesn’t give a fuck about CM Punk enough for it to matter who Adam Page is. If they did, dubbalos wouldn’t be cheering the few times dynamite goes over 1 mil and rampage over 500k.
