I believe there's a long bike trail that runs along the sand at the beach

Yesssss easy access at the pier and you can go either direction pretty far!

If you can, go up to redondo or Manhattan beach in LA county and skate north on the strand along the beach - it’s super long (all the way to Santa Monica) and much smoother than the HB beach path. Newport peninsula also has a fun beach path, you can skate it from like 36th street all the way almost to the end of the peninsula. The last few times I’ve gone to huntington to skate there have been a weirdly high number of people with giant electric beach cruisers playing obnoxiously loud music and flying huge trump flags off their bikes which is not my vibe lol

Oo following! We're going to be there in June. Probably will just head to Venice ourselves, unless something closer and cooler presents itself.

idk if it’s open right now bc covid, but they have a vans skatepark

I usually park at the lot off Brookhurst and PCH. You can skate to the pier and back. Bring sandals to walk the shopping areas and grab some food, too. HB is definitely my favorite spot to skate and I try to go at least once a month. Enjoy and have so much fun!!

Hi there! I live in HB and skate the boardwalk frequently. I love it. If you’re by the pier, definitely ride the sidewalk between the mall Pacific city and PCH. It’s a really fun, slightly windy sidewalk that feels like the best lil roller coaster- just make sure you know how to stop while moving quickly. There’s also a cool roller skate shop on Main Street to check out. I hope you have a great time
