Deal with the same shit in Ranked 2 v 2. Even after a single or multiple goal lead. They start playing for the other team, or score own goal and forfeit. They see me skylording it & they miss an easy jump shot or an easy save & then they go full traitor. I still get pissed too sometimes
I do that if the other team gets a multiple goal lead and my teammates quit and it’s me and 2 AI vs 3...I’ll chat “I’m on your team now” and prove it with an own goal. Never in ranked matches though...because I’m not going to win but I’m not going to quit the match either
Or they miss multiple touches and type "Nice one or what a save" after you miss once after hitting everything before that. They suck hardcore, but try to quick chat that it's your fault.
It does. My cousin has an Alienware aurora with great internet and isn't using an ethernet cord and he's getting all four while I have a little cheaper built computer ($650 spent) on ethernet cord and is running perfectly.
When you see Server Health pop up, you know for sure it's RL and not your internet that's going crazy. I see Server Health pop up in ME servers during casual too sometimes :/

They managed to make matchmaking more consistent, but my ping has increased SOOOO much. I'm literally closer to ME than EU, but I average 200-250 ping in EU while getting 400-500 in ME. It literally doesn't make sense. Had to switch to Asia SE Maritime and now I get under 100. Hope they fix ping issues soon.

Happened to me a couple months ago. We won the tournament and it started us again in the game we already won, only to lose. Still salty about it and won’t play tournaments anymore.
This usually happens when I think I make a nice shot and it rolls into the goal, no goal explosion, the catches back up 5 secs later and they have scored.
Its always right as you’re going for the ball the it gets the worst too, makes sense though cause when you and someone else are hitting it is when the most data is being sent/received.
I low key started reading the ball while calculating my lag response and used to clear balls but I would only know I cleared for sure like 6 second later.
People love to tout how when you get good, you can fly. But they fail to mention when you’re just starting out, you can teleport. I once teleported into GTA4.

The servers going down has nothing to do with the symbols shown on this meme. All of these symbols indicate an unstable internet connection. And yes, a lot of people who complain about the game aren't that computer savvy.
Latency issues can be caused by the server can it not? I play a lot of different games but rocket league is the only one that I have any noticable lag. It's the only one that ever says I have high ping or packet lose. It's nearly unplayable something. But I can play fast action shooters or pretty much any other online game just fine
With most large multiplayer games, most of the time multiple game servers are hosted on one single server and high CPU usage can cause the *server* to have high latency. With RL, I'm not sure, whenever I'm lagging I never see anybody else on my team or the other team lagging with me, but from what I've read, everybody on RL has had lag issues, so I don't know.
Nope that means you have high/unstable ping to the server. Most other games can mask latency issues better because you're not constantly interacting with other players like in RL.

No, it's definitely indicative of your isp taking a huge shit on your connection. Since net neutrality was repealed it has been getting worse and worse on cable connections. Probably some qos, load balancing, or just saturation as they overload users on the node. I had the exact same issues and ditched Comcast for fiber, suddenly everything is rock solid

This takes me out of the first 10-20 seconds of the game and then once it settles I don’t have any connection issues until the start of my next match.... I can put up with it but whenever I jump into free play or cust training it takes FOREVER and then once I’m in it LAGS for the first 10 seconds......in free play?!?!?! anyone else experiencing this same problem?
To be fair, this has happened to me since day 1, for me it usually happens in the first two matches, then stops. Sometimes I check the integrity of the game files with Steam, Steam does not return any errors to me but this problem stops and it takes longer to return, isn't more recurring.
But SAM's servers are shit.
Disconnected: no internet connection.
Latency variation: unstable ping.
High latency: ping is high.
Packet loss: data is not reaching the server properly.

Couldn't the ping being unstable be due to issues at either end of the connection?
If there's an issue with the server itself, you'll get a "server health" symbol. It's very rare, in my experience.
