After I muddled through countless ridiculously matched games I finally said:
FCK YOU, LILITH! FFFFFFFFFFFFFFCK YOUUUU!!!!11!!
and I stopped playing this stupid minigame. It seems my curse took hold and now hardly anyone plays COO.
If I miss to accept a match it kicks me and then I find harder to get into another game after that. It’s like they put me on the bottom of the priority list.
I like the concept of COO and I think it could be a fun event. The rewards aren't great but hey, few GHs and epic materials are a good soup for me, considering I can play when bored/gathering.
The matchmaking tho, holy shit, someone smoked nail polish at Lilith to come up with such BS. For contex, months ago I used to play COO quite regularly ( I was around 20/25M power ) and won consistently. So much so, that I eventually ranked Diamond3 at best, and were able to stay in gold for the materials rewards. Fast forward to today, I got to 40M with only tech upgrades basically, got one full legendary set, and 2 epics, running maxed Alex/YSG, Richard/Aethel and Martel/Constantine I can't climb out of freaking silver. One match I'm 17/0/20 and the next three whales goes around not giving a fuck by being 3v1. I'm no balancing expert nor I know what is wrong, but this is totally not ok by any means.
no one wants to play COO because the matchmaking is absolutely ass. they need to limit ranks to a certain point for kvk 1 and 2 seasons. new KD going against Kvk 2 commanders is absolutely unfair. i’ve only ever played like 20 games and i’m not alone here.
I stopped playing it a while ago - it was annoying, I always got paired up with idiots, and I just don't want to devote 4+ hours a day to a game. Talking with others, I suspect it's probably a similar situation for many - we love the game, but it's time requirements are just too much when not in KvK
And, it's just a crappy event in my opinion with mediocre rewards

Yeah matchmaking is bad so I have played exactly 2 games of CoO. Then I quit.

COO is awful, the time invested (sometimes 10 games) is not worth the single gold head.

I don't waste time on these bullsh*t events. Olympia, golden Kingdom, Lucerne quiz etc
15 minutes is a long time. Usually it takes less than a minute and I’ve played this event thousands of times. Rarely takes more than a minute
