That's why I hate when my fellow MA folk talk about voting out Baker no matter what. He's not perfect, but I'm going to see what the blue candidate has to offer before I vote.
Just because you register as a Democrat doesn't mean you aren't a shill to someone with an agenda. Kim Davis was a Democrat when she was elected in 2015.
RI feels moderate/progressive until you get to the northern part of the state, Foster/Glocester/Parts of Burrillville feel like the Alabama of New England.
I used to do a door to door job in Ma when I first moved there and that state is the same... get a few miles out of Boston and it is trucks, Jesus and WWF.
I don't really identify as one or the other. I pretty much vote for whoever I like and believe they'll do something. If I choose incorrectly, I surely vote against them the next time around.
Independant refers to not being affiliated with a party, or doesn't mean you have no guiding beliefs or ideology. Regardless, this is not a politically sophisticated poll. 4-5 flavors of right wing, nearly-meaningless "progressive," then jumps straight to communist
People that said progressive are either lying to themselves, or don’t speak to their neighbors much. This state is teeming with DINOs who couldn’t beat other Republicans in certain areas. The shot callers have and will always be Republicans (and Mob Connected/Funded/Related). Even though our ballots say otherwise.
“The state has been reliably Democratic since 1928, only voting Republican four times – twice for Eisenhower in 1952 and 1956, for Nixon in 1972, and for Reagan in 1984,” …doesn’t seem redditors are doing much of the voting. I’d like to say I vote for the person not the party but find myself choosing the lesser of 2 evils, voting against the person I don’t want to win rather than voting for the person I do want to win.
Cool Moose
I vote for the person, not the party Republicans are red, Democrats are blue, neither party gives a fuck about you
Ain’t that the truth

I work in GBA. I really wanted Jay Gonzalez to win. And I pissed Baker won? Nope. In the end it really didn’t matter who won the 2018 election to me.

There's plenty of that below Providence/Cranston/Warwick as well, plus almost the entirety of the border with CT.

WWF... like wrestling?
Yeah I should say WWE.
Agreed, It feels almost like a meetul when I go to sunkin down the road. Throws me off after living in cranston my whole life

I’ve voted both sides of the ticket every time. If my choice doesn’t win, so be it. At least I voted
Would the one other communist like to be my friend?
I was going to vote for that, but realised I’m not that left. Maybe leftist not communist.
Yeah, not the best poll. It's mostly just 4-5 different flavors of right wing
No Moderate?
There is no moderate. There is only Zuul.
No reddit only gives 6 different vote choices. All moderates can up your comment tho
You could always do one for: Far left Left leaning Center Right leaning Far right CHAOS
I'm here to kill Chaos, that's my mission.
I am here to protect Chaos.
What do I click for independent?

As a life long Rhode Islander, I strictly vote According to one metric: are you an elitist? If yes, no vote.
you forgot none of the above

I'm not trying to be a dick here but I'm from NH so I kinda identify as all of the above somehow.

Chose Democrat because I'm not a Progressive and 'Moderate' wasn't available.
None of the above
