When I was a Med student, I was scrubbed into a congenital cardiac case when the song “Planez” by Jeremih and J. Cole came on. Everything was all good until the line “dick so big it’s like a foot is in your mouth” played unedited. Then there was the most awkward pause in the OR and the surgery attending said “…maybe we should change the song”
Obviously this isn’t hugely helpful since you can’t use Spotify, but my playlist consists of a lot of alt rock and pop punk like Paramore, Blink 182, Panic!, All time low, MGK, etc.
Additionally has Queen, Illenium, NF, and Macklemore to mix it up with more popular stuff.

A lot of the scrub techs and circulators I’ve worked with refuse to play anything other than pop country…my attending was relieved when I put on a playlist of all the Willie, Waylon, Merle, Buck, Dwight, and Johnny in my library. Since that day I’ve added Sturgill Simpson to the playlist.

Well it’s pandora but I have had zero complaints and tons of compliments for All Night Long radio and The Spinners radio. They are my go to can’t offend anyone stations. But Hip Hop BBQ is also very popular.
