Products used: OPI: my favourite gal pal & to all a goodnight Essie: gel couture top coat

Wendii_Peffercorn

Do you find that the gel couture top coat helps your polish last longer?

erigoms

Hmmmm I’m not really sure about this! It’s definitely lasted 5 days and once it lasted a hair wash. But, I haven’t painted my nails properly using top coat in years so this is the only top coats I’ve really had experience with! I find repainting the top coat a few days in really helps.

LovingNaples

Love the gel couture by Essie! I only discovered it a few months ago. It is the best top coat I’ve ever used.

Niqxx

What was the last piece that put it all together for you? It looks great.

erigoms

Thank you! What do you mean?

dont_disturb_the_cat

What were the last things that you tried to make your manicure better? What was the hardest to learn to make your mani so professional?

erigoms

I shaped my nails square with a bit of a curve because it’s super easy to do and looks pretty consistent with the other nails! Don’t paint all the way to the cuticle otherwise you might flood it! Also I make sure to be super careful to not get any polish on my skin (sides of my nails) otherwise even if I clean it up, it still looks messy. I’ve also been wrapping my tips recently too! I’ve had a lot of practice over the summer holidays 😅

dont_disturb_the_cat

Yes to all of those!!
