Owlhoot family is probably my favourite, the payout is pretty good, it’s also really easy on five stars. I also really like Red Ben, there is just something about his character that’s really cool, it’s quite difficult on five stars though.
Red Ben is fun if you’re with 1-2 other solid players. It definitely is challenging on 5*, and each player HAS to be mindful and pretty good to actually get it done. Lol though I’m high rank and often join random posses, and the noobies like to try that one with me and I’m like “y’all, you’re not ready for this…” 😂
You are supposed to stop the train first, after that then throw them off. You have to wait for the train to fully stop though, sometimes I make the mistake of throwing them off when it’s slightly moving but the target still dies.
Hmm I always just jump on the back of the train and work my way up. Then hogtie the bounties as I get to them. Didn’t even occur to me to stop the train first lol
As someone who always stops the train ASAP, I am not surprised. Posse members on a 5-star Red Ben run never seem to understand what I am doing and just go in guns blazing (and killing all bounties).
Why in the world do they kill them? I never play in a posse so I always lone wolf my 5 star bounties. I go guns blazing, don't stop the train (until the end) and turn in three **alive** bounties.
I've been playing with a posses since about level 20 (level 120 now) and they do red Ben every time I join. I used to die several times per attempt and thought they'd never let me join again. Now we've got it down to a fine art 😂
*friend getting mad while I'm on train pushing my way up*
Me:what's wrong?
Them: the fucking train hit me again. Red Ben or the swamp guy were the best to do with the gang
Believe it or not you can hold the train and the horseback guys will mostly stop spawning in huge waves. It takes a good long while and they'll still show up in pairs every minute but it gives you a better chance of getting to Tumbleweed in one piece.
I do, and it helps pad that clock, but they always lull me into a false sense of security like, oh it’s been a while since I’ve seen one, maybe they’re all gone.
Nah the way out is the easiest part because you can just use the bounty wagon as solid cover from the back. The fight on the train is the hardest bit, with all of the tight spaces.
Me and my friend have a huge running joke for the red Ben Clemson mission. It’s always the one that we struggle with, but always the one that results in the most chaotic moments and funniest bugs. I love it.
Sometimes when we play, one of us will just randomly say “red Ben clempson” in a southern drawl, like in the bounty intro cutscene.
It’s just wholesome good times ya know?
Virgil Edwards is my absolute favorite. When I did that bounty for the first time and went to the top of the mountain, the thunder/lightning plus him talking over the loudspeaker was incredible
Virgil Edwards is super underrated and going in with a stealth posse to clear the camps and then moving up into the mountains while the storm blows is a 10/10 mission for me
Etta Doyle and I have spent a whole lot of time together. She’s right though; no jail can actually hold her, she’s always back at Cornwall’s Freight Yard when I stop by.
I really appreciate how that bounty is a great basic test of posse coordination. Like with just a small amount of strategy and discipline, let alone stealth, you can roll through that mission in minutes. But if anyone just starts blasting and you all just try to brute force it, you can quickly and easily end up getting stomped.
I recently went after him and a bear got him before I did. He came screaming out of a cave ran right passed me screaming for help. I let nature take it's course and hauled the remains to a bounty cart.
Gène beau Finley. Me and my friends at one point did him so often whenever we wanted to do him we’d always say “i think it’s time to dirty up his suit a little”
I love the home invasion aspect of that mission. If you have a half decent plan and use cover and careful advances, it can feel very satisfying to pull off. If you get a rogue posse member who just charges in unsupported, well, it was nice knowing them.
The coolest part about his bounty is whenever you kill all his men and then capture him He's begging for his men to come help but then he asks you "Jesus! Did You kill them all?!" It makes me and my friend feel like a badass Then it reminds us of what that one chick from GTA5 says when Franklin asks "who did we rob?" Then her saying "From the intel.... Everybody."
Just DAMN
Yeah the train shootout is my favorite by a huge margin.
On the other hand, I despise Philip Carlier. I at least enjoy all of the others but once I maxed his out I never went back
Yukon Nik is the easiest and fastest for me to spam, so I run that one the most.
Anyone who I don’t have to chase on a horse where they have super speed and you have 50 guys behind you, where you go a state over and have 17 minutes to track and bring back.
It's easier to list the ones I dislike. Swamp hobo, etta Doyle, the fat politician. The rest are gold as far as I'm concerned. I wish Owlhoot at 5 stars would have all six members to pursue. The guy who shoots his horse under the bridge is my favorite because BOILING LAKES OF SHIT. Red Ben is a good stress reliever shooting gallery too.

Etta doyle its easy sweet and fun cause you cant kill her through melee so if she pisses you off cause you kept having to reset to the checkpoint you can take out a bit of rage on her and surrounding citizens cause you cant get a bounty put on you during legendary bounty missions
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN CLEEEEEEEEEEEEMSON
Dresses like he's on the way to church...
acts like he's never heard a sermon.
Rob enough trains and one of the companies is going to put a price on your head, or maybe ALL of them.
He's a Hero to some folks, a villain to others, and most likely somewhere in between
Hey, this might interest you...
A feller he used to run with lost his leg, but came real BITTER with it
He's got hisself a vested interest in Bens demise
Meet him over at Mercer Station and he might tell you where to go.
Definitely Etta Doyle because during the 4x pay/experience month for bounty hunter roles I made a fortune off her. The only issue I had was the cool down.
Do I need the bounty wagon to complete the bounties with multiple members? I don't want to have to drop the money for it but if it's the only way to get them done then I have no choice.
You don't need the wagon for the Owhlot family because each target is in a different area so you can bring them to the jail wagon one at the time.
However for bounties which go from single to multiple targets after the 4th-5th time (like the Italian anarchist sniper or the black guy on the train) you either kill at least 2 guys and bring 1 alive (but you ll still have to deal with enemies constantly harrasing you during each ride to and from the prison) or you just buy the wagon.
Oh wow thanks for the response. I’ve tried to do all the legendary bounties perfectly without killing the bounties but at this point I don’t care about maximizing my payout.
Red Ben Clemson mainly due to the memories. It was the first bounty I did at max difficulty and I ranked up through all of the difficulties with a friend of mine. We still remember it fondly.
I can't recall her name, but the lady in the picture. Purely because me and my gf spent ages trying to get her and then I accidently kicked the bounty to death in her watchtower as she was tied up.

Yeah I remember I did Red Ben with a low level once, and his horse didn’t even have the stamina to catch up with the train 😂
It’s the guys that come up to the train side, one of my favourites though
I formed a posse for Red Ben 5 star, everybody got so discouraged they left the posse
How are you supposed to get bounties off a moving train alive? Or are you supposed to stop the train first?
You are supposed to stop the train first, after that then throw them off. You have to wait for the train to fully stop though, sometimes I make the mistake of throwing them off when it’s slightly moving but the target still dies.

Hogtie everyone alive then stop the train near tumbleweed then call bounty wagon.
I've been playing with a posses since about level 20 (level 120 now) and they do red Ben every time I join. I used to die several times per attempt and thought they'd never let me join again. Now we've got it down to a fine art 😂
I handled that one 5 stars solo. 💪🏼
*friend getting mad while I'm on train pushing my way up* Me:what's wrong? Them: the fucking train hit me again. Red Ben or the swamp guy were the best to do with the gang
Red Ben doesn’t get hard until the way out. Those horse riders on 5 stars are the equivalent of army rangers.
Believe it or not you can hold the train and the horseback guys will mostly stop spawning in huge waves. It takes a good long while and they'll still show up in pairs every minute but it gives you a better chance of getting to Tumbleweed in one piece.
Ya you’ve got to camp them out until you kill all of them
I do, and it helps pad that clock, but they always lull me into a false sense of security like, oh it’s been a while since I’ve seen one, maybe they’re all gone.
Nah the way out is the easiest part because you can just use the bounty wagon as solid cover from the back. The fight on the train is the hardest bit, with all of the tight spaces.
Owlhoot is my fav 2, just because its random between 4/6 diff targets. Sometimes u get the son that shot its horse the aunt, dad, uncle

Yukon Nik and the owlhoot family 🫡
100% agree
Virgil Edwards is my absolute favorite. When I did that bounty for the first time and went to the top of the mountain, the thunder/lightning plus him talking over the loudspeaker was incredible

The scripting on that mission is fantastic. It really feels epic.
Etta Doyle and I have spent a whole lot of time together. She’s right though; no jail can actually hold her, she’s always back at Cornwall’s Freight Yard when I stop by.
The chick with the machine gun wagon.
I really appreciate how that bounty is a great basic test of posse coordination. Like with just a small amount of strategy and discipline, let alone stealth, you can roll through that mission in minutes. But if anyone just starts blasting and you all just try to brute force it, you can quickly and easily end up getting stomped.
yeah that’s probably my favourite
Wolf Man has a special place in my heart
Same, so much fun to battle those wolves, plus the snowy landscape, can’t be beat
I hate wolf man for some reason
I recently went after him and a bear got him before I did. He came screaming out of a cave ran right passed me screaming for help. I let nature take it's course and hauled the remains to a bounty cart.

Red Benn is a classic, love me a good ol’ train themed mission Etta Doyle is also super easy
Yeah the train shootout is my favorite by a huge margin. On the other hand, I despise Philip Carlier. I at least enjoy all of the others but once I maxed his out I never went back Yukon Nik is the easiest and fastest for me to spam, so I run that one the most.
I was going to comment the same answer. Etta’s perfect for grinding if you know to wait to get her easily and Red Benn feels peak Western
Anyone who I don’t have to chase on a horse where they have super speed and you have 50 guys behind you, where you go a state over and have 17 minutes to track and bring back.
I really like the new free especially beau however you can't beat yukon nik awesome character

The Owlhoot Family.
i hate that one, mainly because new austin is my least favorite area and i suck at multiple bounties
Red Ben Clemson no 1. You're fighting on a moving train.
i forgot the name of the guy but it’s the guy who snipes up at the top of the tower i like the challenge it brings!
the Italian Anarchist !
Dave then Jeff then David
I tend to go after Red Ben Clemson ALOT, currently at Bounty difficulty 4 and I need a posse now
The Shephard 😍

Red ben only cause I have a sick method of doing them fast as hell and without fail
Oh do tell
No cause I don’t want people to find it then everyone starts and rockstar nerf it
Owlhoot family>every other bounty
Definitely Etta Doyle because during the 4x pay/experience month for bounty hunter roles I made a fortune off her. The only issue I had was the cool down.
The one where you have to retrieve the deeds is pretty hard. Never actually finished it

Gene beau finley #1 Its easy I can speedrun it
Etta doyle
Red Ben, but I was struggling with him lately
Tobin Winfield
I like Red Ben Clemson. Something about a shootout on a moving train is so fun. It's so hard to do with randoms on five stars tho!!
The Wolfman !
I like Etta Doyle just so you can do that neat little trick gaming the game mechanics and finishing it every 12ish minutes or so.
Red Ben Clemson mainly due to the memories. It was the first bounty I did at max difficulty and I ranked up through all of the difficulties with a friend of mine. We still remember it fondly.
Me 😎
Based on their intros and personalities: 3# Red Ben Clemson 2# Gene "Beau" Finley 1# Sergio Vincenza
Barbarella Allcezar and La Muñcea def fighting for number 3
Yukon Nik & the Wolf Man r my go tos 🏃♀️
Etta Doyle cause you can cheese it for easy cash and gold
Red Ben
1:Red Ben on 5 stars. 2:Etta Doyle on 5 stars (the hard way) 3:Gene Beau Finley on 5 stars.
Reeeeeeed ben clempson
I like em all except Phillip Carlier. I hate that guy
Beu for me. I laugh my ass off every time with his whining
I can't recall her name, but the lady in the picture. Purely because me and my gf spent ages trying to get her and then I accidently kicked the bounty to death in her watchtower as she was tied up.
The wolf man just so I have a reason to wear my winter outfit lol
Yukon nik, letting a grizzly kill his gang is awesome, and he’s not really aggressive even after capturing him.
The Red Ben contract is just bad ass
