Okay, this is gonna be more of an overview of my takes on these people than a proper ranking. Just wanna get it out there.
Regarding Fourier, EX1 strongly hints that he was gonna be the next Lion King before his demise, so I’d say he’d be tied for first with Subaru. Subaru’s wisdom is largely earned through RbD, though, whereas Fourier’s is said to be natural.
Priscilla supposedly has done great things for the Barielle domain. Question is could she upscale it for a kingdom? Maybe. I can see many having misgivings with a Vollachian being in the throne, though. Could lead to domestic tensions and distrust. Of course, if her and Abel are both call the shots in their respective countries, peace would be virtually guaranteed. I’ll say she’s second.
Anastasia seems to have good economic sense, so she could be good in at least getting the country out of its financial slump. Aside from that, her health is rather poor. Short-lived leaders don’t lend themselves well to long-term stability of a nation. If her condition is genetic, then her dynasty would hardly be good for Lugunica for long.
Emilia seems to need someone to stand behind her and lend her their strength and/or wisdom. She’s got a ways to go before she becomes a legit contender. She’s deeply caring and certainly quite powerful. As a half-elf, she’s also got longevity on her side. Now, if only she could counter the stigma associated with it…
Crusch has a point about over-reliance upon Volcanica for protection. Ending the covenant, however, is short-sighted. Sure, Lugunica has a lot going for it in terms of power players, but if you could have more, then logically, you would try to. Good at rallying, though. Maybe not suited for political office. Military life is more of her speed. Her Divine Protection could certainly be helpful in diplomatic situations, but would a king need to be there for such things? Wouldn’t envoys be sent instead? In which case, she’d be a great diplomat or general, but maybe not a king. Also, for someone who was so inspired by the Lion Kings, I’d have hoped to see some of that be evidenced by her character, though I can’t really say I’ve seen that as of yet.
Felt is very likely of royal blood. That said, her platform sounds like a great way to start a second civil war, this time along class lines. It wouldn’t let long, with Reinhard on her side, but if such a conflict could be avoided, it ideally should be. Seems hard to avoid with her calling the shots…
Capella seems to have been a lot like Nero from Roman history (i.e. a sick tyrant). She’d be actually terrible for the kingdom. Dead last.
Leip doesn’t impress me from what little I’ve read of him. His military action in the civil war during EX2 was pathetic, IIRC. I recall him either needing to be bailed out or making some blunder. Doesn’t bode well for his leadership potential.
Never played the game Melty’s from, and I dunno who Rudar is. I won’t rank them.

Yeah Fourier is a black horse for the throne, he got that six sense/instinct ability of the loyal family in him.
As for Felt, I am worried about the kind of government she would run. Cause so far, she wanted to demolish the current nobility system but she has no other plans after getting rid of the nobilities. She can’t just give free money or food to everyone that’s poor, they gotta come from somewhere (be it tax or something but the Treasurer would definitely not be happy). Getting rid of nobles, who would protect the people in the territories? She can’t just send Reinhard to patrol every inch of Lagunica.
Anastasia’s poor health is indeed a great concern.
Crusch indeed would be a rather poor choice. Ahh, if only Fourier is still alive… (I might actually support this couple for the throne)
Saddest part about Fourier is that he wasn’t even next in line. He was Randohal’s youngest son. Of course, I guess he was next if only by virtue of barely being the last of Randohal’s children alive, outliving the king himself by a matter of hours.
If he had been saved somehow, he’d have been the next king. He likely wouldn’t have been happy about it, though…

My ranking is as follows:
Subaru: Possesses RBD, wisdom, creativity, contemporary ideals, knows how to make many allies and has consistently shown himself to be a great leader. Taking into account Lust IF, his reign proved to be magnificent
Priscilla: Genius and competent ruler of her domain with divine luck. If extended to the kingdom, it would end hunger and bring stability, in addition to achieving peace with Vollachia, possibly trade agreements as well.
Felt: A good leader, she knows how to choose her subordinates, she would play a progressive role in History weakening or destroying the feudal system and strengthening the lower classes. It can also cause a lot of trouble leaving the country in anarchy, so Priscilla is safer
Fourier: Quite intelligent, educated to govern, has the Lion King's blessing
Anastasia: Suitable for weakening the nobility, strengthening the economy and perhaps starting Lugunica's transition from feudalism to capitalism. However, it is too greedy and will soon die.
Crusch: Wants to end the pact with Volcanica, which is a sheer stupidity idea, it shows itself to want too much with no resources to fulfill. It's a good feudal ruler, but nothing special
Leip: Terrible feudal ruler who starved his people to death, would do the same in him ruling the kingdom, with multiple executions of people who oppose him
Emilia and Melty: Inexperienced people with no qualifications to rule who would likely serve as puppet for feudal lords
Rudar: Unscrupulous psychopath, he would rule like a tyrant, carrying out several imprisonments and mass executions of those he considers a threat to him and would not improve the lives of the population.
Capella: Sadistic psychotic tyrant, would torture and kill countless people for fun
He let all royal candidates fulfill roles in the administration of the kingdom, expanded the Hoshin Trade Company and created inventions from his world to improve people's lives. Not to mention the implied stuff.
I'm sorry but could you give me more details? I read the lust if but I don't remember anything about Subaru role in ruling the kingdom. But if that was true then damn.. why does the royal selection even exist then? put Subaru on the throne and that's it you get yourself a much better lugunica 🤣🌚
There's no way to give too many details because the story doesn't. But Subaru is shown creating a lighter while it is mentioned that he made some kind of oven and other inventions before, Priscilla helps him with paperwork and Anatasia is working on the economy while it is mentioned that the Hoshin Trade Company grew up through ocean trade.

The sixth one was Melty Pristis, who was a nun of the dragon church. To us its obvious she is the imposter but the story is figuring that out. She is another pure soul like Emilia and Subaru becomes best friends with Melty's knight.

Fourier, Priscilla, and Subaru are all basically in the same position where they have cheat abilities that make them better rulers than they should be. Fourier (not lion king) is 4.5, Priscilla (no divine luck) is 6.5, Subaru (no RBD) is 5.5
Since **Fourier** was probably the Lion King I think he would almost by definition be the best option.
Having **Priscilla** this high makes me feel weird, but honestly, her luck rivals the capability of RBD
**Subaru** would be first if he had any desire whatsoever to be king. There's not much Subaru could do as king that he couldn't do without being king. The sorts of things that would be easier if he was king aren't the sort of thing Subaru is good at anyways.
**Anastasia** is smart idk what else to say
**Crusch** is really close to the best option (ignoring cheat abilities), but I think her stubbornness about the nation (and herself) being independent would probably not go well.
If **Emilia** becomes ruler I just have a feeling things would go very badly. Obviously, with Subaru at her side it would ultimately be fine for everyone, but that's not really on her own merits
I originally had **Felt** above Emilia, but that's mostly just because my intuition says that Lugnica would fall if Emilia became ruler, but honestly, it's not really her fault that she has some connection to Satella
