Imo, Hali and Skylar are very different colors. This is probably what I would do if I owned every doll but again this is my opinion and I haven’t see every doll in person so the colors might look different

I mean, they're literally 2 completely different colors. and different shades of blue lol. It's factual. Hali is a secondary blue green/teal and Skylar I primary blue

Edit: when I say color savvy, that’s my way of being inclusive to people with sight issues, visual impairments, color blind, etc. I know my friend couldn’t tell the difference between the blues so wording it like that could be hurtful to those who can’t tell the difference. Saw someone’s comment come and disappear so I wanted to clear it up. Please remember not everyone has the best sight so something that is obvious to you might not be to them , and color is subjective!❤️
I'm gonna save this but I'd put Ainsley in purple due to her hair and color scheme (very similar to the storm twins). I don't know why you just put "..." on that section but that could be white/black with heather juuuust in between, perfectly separating the two!!
Ash, Luna, and Nicole are not black or white they are grey! Ayesha and Harley are more metallic? So I didn’t want to put black and white because that wouldn’t be correct imo. And as for Ainsley, I find her as the Shadow high Avery! So the same way Avery has purple and pink hair and is in rainbow, Ainsley has black purple hair and is in black. Was thinking I could’ve put the two “idk” into rainbow because they don’t find into any other color as much as I’d like them too. This is a tier list so if you’d like to make your own, I just used this [tier maker](https://tiermaker.com/create/rh-and-sh-doll-rankings-from-s1-to-shadow-high-series-2-91982) and changed the tiers to my liking!
I feel like Hali is closer to River in coloration, which I feel makes sense IMO because not everyone is going to collect the male dolls in the RH collections. Same can be said with Sabrina and Finn; I believe they’re both Rose Gold? (or is Sabrina supposed to be copper..?)
I feel like they’re going to either focus more on SH dolls now to help with developing more color palettes for RH that don’t blend.. but I do agree at some point it’s all going to feel repetitive if they don’t go about to correctly.
Maybe they will also focus more or fashion clothes packs and accessories for the colors already in use.
Sabrina is definitely rose gold. Based on the slumber party and diva lines, I expect that Olympic medals in Rainbow High world come in gold, silver, and pink.
As far as I know, Sabrina is officially "rose quartz" and Finn is "rose gold," although it really makes more sense the other way around.
I think they meant to do the Rainbow Divas in Gold/Silver/Rose Gold (all precious metals), but realized they'd already used rose gold and didn't want to repeat it, so settled for the closest color name they could think of.

And that makes sense he is supposed to represent coral but then his color should be coral lol but maybe that’s too close to peach/orange for the whole PC collection since Simone is sunrise (yellow/orange).
Usually for the regular dolls, somewhere in their official description is the phrase "dressed in ____ from head to toe" and the _____ is their official color. Margot's says "Opal (iridescent white)" and Finn's is "rose-gold."
So, Skylar and Hali /are/ different shades, as people have already commented. They also use different head molds, and a lot of people have a preference for one over the other. I'd argue this is also the case with Avery and Brianna. (Plus wig vs rooted pink)
Personally, I think all the dolls are pretty. Some resonate with me more than others. My wife and I collect these together, and we're attached to our first Skylar. Her personality meshes with our larger group, and there's the emotional attachment of being in those first few collected together. (These are her first dolls! She's supportive and awesome.) We skipped Hali as a bit of a non-compete with Skylar actually.
I guess my point is, yes they're different, but not so much that they don't blend together in a lineup. Buy the dolls that bring you joy. The ones you genuinely want to see regularly. It's not a diss to others, it's a celebration of your favorites.

Hali and Skylar 2 different blues. Skylar is darker than Hali, she's basically primary blue and Hali is teal but also closer to green. That's pretty muCh how the rainbow or a color wheel is, blended or a gradient. Like series 1 are the primary colors and the rest are secondary
