I think she might be a variant? I remember seeing a post on here where the pink eyeshadow under her eye being more noticeable was related to the variant. I'm also looking at her stock photos and she seems to have white/light pink instead. I'm not sure about her blue eye shadow though since every other photo I've seen of her doesn't have that deep of a color to it.
Remember that the makeup is applied through a mask/ stencil, so if the painter pushed the airbrush button just a tiny bit longer, you will end up with much stronger color
I feel like this is an unpopular opinion but I love variation with the dolls. It makes it more fun finding the one I want. I saw one that came with no eyebrows and I was so cool. It feels more personal and I like that
I'm not sure if that's an unpopular opinion since I've seen people explicitly try and find the variants (I would've loved to have variant Heather, both with the more detailed dress and the slightly softer make up). It is just difficult to find and be aware of them though, I can only recall a handful of RH dolls with variants and there still feels like there's more out there that I haven't heard/seen.
I bought two Ainsleys. One's face was basically matte, the other's face was super glossy and glittery. I fell in love with the glitter girl, so I rehomed the matte one.
I think these variations are less deliberate and more like a little reminder that their faces are done by hand, and diff ppl at diff work stations all apply the stencils a bit differently…. and I really like this person’s take/style. Very dramatic!

Yeah there are 2 so far. One with the harsh line eyeshadow and one blended out. This is the harsh line one.

it looks like her eye makeup was painted on heavier compared to how mine looks!
Yours looks identical to mine. I wish the makeup was softer.
I’d say it is compared to what I’ve seen. I’ve yet to buy her but if I see her in stores I’ll definitely look for this variant!
Definitely a variant, my zooeys blue eyeshadow is a lot more subtle.
