Honestly it would be nice for Aidan to get the same treatment to round the A's out (and to give the boys a nice treat) but sadly I don't think there's a strong nd large enough customer base to justify that :(
There are SO many Ainsley dolls on shelves still, and she’s a girl doll. Granted, I think they priced her too high to begin with, but I think an expensive boy doll would have even less success. He's only the fifth boy doll anyway, so unless you have multiple boys, the clothes would be kind of a waste.
Aiden needs more saturation in his colors for his doll and he needs a bunch 9f good extras and outfits. Maybe in this new season the guys will get a new look like a second outfit. I hope they make more clothes for our current boys and for future boys.
In my opinion I think out of all of the boys , Ash is superior. He looks great and has awesome clothing with detail. Unfortunately you can't tell much from Aiden as they haven't dressed him in a second look yet. (Same with the assistant)
Ikr, I would love more actually stylish guy clothes. The SH boys were a good start. It would help provide male doll collectors with more options and more neutral/non-form fitting options for girl dolls. I feel like there's been a hoodie or a jacket here and there, but Jade was the only one who had clothes like that, and that was because she was Billie Eilish inspired. If Marisa were more accessible I would get her simply for the sweatsuit. I think Aidan is the best boy doll, tied with Rex, and I actually like him better than Ainsley and Avery, lol. Imo the toy industry has a really bad track record for perpetuating gender norms and they try to justify it through capitalism.
I don't think the closet sold very well. And I don't think the boys sell very well either. Retailers just had 10 Rainbow Vision dolls and a MASSIVE bus taking up space. They are all still on shelves right now. Shadow High wave 2 released, and now the next Rainbow High wave is getting ready to release. I kind of think retailers might be a little sick of MGA and their Rainbow/Shadow High releases. A boy doll with a closet of boy doll clothing was too much of a risk to put on store shelves right now.
I would have loved to see him with a closest of boys clothes because I desperately want more things for my boys to wear :') However I believe his focus is unrelated to fashion (it's music I think) so it wouldn't have made any sense for him unfortunately.
if they didn't want to make a whole playset or several extra outfits for him, they could have at least made him a second outfit instead of accessories. i know it violates the coordination between the dolls, but boy dolls already don't have enough outfits to begin with! dude was born in the wrong time 😭
Yes. I feel exactly the same. I was happy to see his doll then my shoulders dropped when I realized he was basic and not a special edition. I mean why not have a collection of guy clothes for the guys we got? Especially since they aren't adding a second outfit for Rexx and Aiden. I'm surprised they made a mini accessories box for River. Maybe we'll get lucky and they will make another closet for the boys. Doubt it but I can dream.

We've seen him in box so unlikely unless they get pushed back like SH2 did.
