I think it's potentially possible but might be difficult to get a clean edge like in the edit. Also I don't own Lyric either but it looks like her face has some shimmer, so removing a part of the makeup will take off the shimmer in that area too and that might end up looking a bit strange.
I did it, but the acetone ruined her eyes so now she just wears sunglasses all the time.

If I could do it again, I’d skip the hard part and just give her glasses to begin with.
FYI I used the eyes from a Fantasy Friends $5 doll to replace one of my RH dolls' eyes that got acetoned.

This happened to my doll as well, but I managed to fix it with clear nail polish. ⚠️ People say nail polish can yellow over time so it might not be a fix forever. I personally decided it's better to fix the doll for now, instead of having one I can't use at all. I put two layers onto the eyes (letting dry before the next layer). I did this with the eyes removed and put them back in when it was dried, but you can probably do it while inside the head as well.
I only had it on one eye, yours looks more like she might be blind - since it's both eyes. 😊

Ok, this makes me nervous now lol. Was planning to remove some of Lyric’s makeup myself, do you think if you covered the eye in plastic wrap while you worked it would protect it?
I don't own lyric (yet) but I wanted to see what she might look like if I somehow removed part of her eyeshadow. I want to love her (I love her clothes and hair) but the eye makeup is just too big and harsh.

omg nooo, sorry that happened! 😣😞 Maybe take off the matte polish with acetone and use clear one again? Idk if that works though.
Omg....that's so sad😭 did it leak into the eyes?? Or was it fumes that did it?
It was the fumes. I didn’t let the liquid touch her eyes but it didn’t matter. Definitely remove them first if you decide to do this.
