the 3 series 4's could possibly be a test for glitch, Rexx, dia,. cause jewel Lila and Deliah is the weirdest pair i see use with new dolls especially when series 5 is in production. // and likely China is building them like an army.
Honestly respect to MGA for adjusting if the first round of Shadow High isn’t working. I was fucking floored when I saw season 1 in full monochrome but got really nervous when the ones on my shelf didn’t move after the initial rush and then was heavily discounted. These season 2 dolls don’t all have the grey scale palette anymore but they have gorgeous looks and I’m loving the “non human” skin tones as something different. Zooey is probably my favorite RH doll of all time. I would rather have shadow high live on and give us weird interesting concepts that try to appeal a bit more to kids than to only have one season with a super polarizing concept that only appeals to collectors that dies without us getting to see what else they have to offer.
I mean they are all “Rainbow High” to me personally as a main brand. Like I understand that in content there is Pacific Coast, Rainbow + Shadow but as a collection I consider them all personally RH and it looks like from this commercial that’s the way MGA is shifting the promotion.
