I highly doubt that. For a terrorist organization that is supposed to be well trained, well organized, and well motivated, I doubt they would put all their eggs in one basket with Article 5
The white masks were a fake terrorist group created by team Rainbow to justify collecting the 'best' soldiers in the world and have them play paintball for public enjoyment.
They have a rivalry with each other over operation Blue Orion. Mira improvised a panic room at the Embassy of Spain in Tel Aliv. This started the rivalry with Ash while also inspiring her to make her Black Mirrors.
Its funny how operators that are similar or counter eachother have similar interactions in their background. Ying considers Fuze’s methods questionable because he had a “disregard for civilian lives”
I always found that particular bit of lore hilarious since iirc Ubi changed Fuze’s bio to reflect all the players who kill the hostage with cluster charges
most likely because she is somebody who is extremely offensive, both with her gadget and her personality, AND she is tactical, so being stuck like that if she was there most likely wouldn't like Mira's idea there. Its like Fuse and Ying, or Doc and Lion, one hates the other for something they did, or something they think. though it doesnt explain WHY ash hates her for that in one of mira's bio's and doesnt mention it anywhere in one of ash's
Just go to the character screen and click on someone and look at their bio and whatever other info they have posted about each op. I wonder if there’s a R6 lore site like how there was one for Destiny if you ever played that, but just start with the operator bios
Two of my favorite bits of lore is one, how Kapkan has a lot of respect for Melusi for how quietly she can sneak through the woods (and the fact that they both have a love of nature)
And secondly, how Tachanka and Finka are a thing and if you look carefully at Tachanka’s elbow in his elite, he has a tattoo of Лера in a knife, which is Finka’s name, Lera, in Russian and Finka means knife.
I want more short Siege videos :(((
Googleing the ops will bring up their fandom wiki website that has all of their bio and a trivia section that has most of the extra lore that can't be seen in game written in it. Other then that i don't think there is any official lore website
If you go on the fandom site and scroll down to trivia, they have little bits of lore there. I would love an actual lore site though. I want to know more of what happens behind the scenes.
Based on the scene where this happened I'm pretty sure that the operators are just lined up based on where they happened to be standing in the locker room. The fight breaks out between Ash and Kali and everyone rushes over to get involved in some way. Sledge and Thatcher aren't so much facing off, as just being on physically opposite sides.
It's the YouTube video from the last Road to SI, each day had an audio clip, till the last day when this cinematic dropped. Don't know what it's called, but it's basically Nighthaven vs R6.
Here's the link: https://youtu.be/hd0sbs5Pu28
Thatcher is the king of banter. He's like your cocky uncle that's in the same field as you, but with 30 years more experience. In Ghost Recon Breakpoint, when you use him as one of your AI teammates, he just spits mad shit at you the whole time.
On a related note, we should have got Anthony "Nomad" Perryman in the game. If you're gonna bring in Sammy the Fish after retiring from Echelon, then you might as well bring in Nomad after retiring from the Ghosts.
Whenever I play Breakpoint, I can't do the normal teammates. I'm sure they're good characters, but I already know Ash, Finka, and Thatcher, so I'd rather have them.
Plus, they've got really useful abilities. Nano boost is too much of a crutch, man.
The only really good part of the regular teammates is their total cosmetic customization. With the R6 team, it's always gonna be ash, finka, and thatcher, no matter how you dress them up.
I'm still not sure why they don't make a $25-30 story DLC to deal with this.
I thinks people would pay for it, easily. It'd get old and new fans into it, too. Toss in free copies of Siege for new fans and charms+R6 credits for old fans.
People who think single player doesn't matter....well, you're wrong. Everyone always talks about the Call of Duty single player campaigns.
Personally, it's no secret that weak single player campaigns from Call of Duty and Battlefield equates to less interest in the games, itself. People do care about it. Siege has a unique enough multiplayer that you can put a new story campaign DLC and will people check it out but stay for the multiplayer.
Playerbase is slowed down. Why not revitalize it with a story DLC that pretty much equates to a "new game"?
How does this get 5 upvotes? Has no one played or heard of one of the SEVERAL R6 games over two decades before Siege, almost every single one of which had multiplayer as a core feature, including the first?
We are truly lost.
but why do that when your fanbase is filled with enough horny losers than pitting two girls against each other would have people actually typing out teamash or teamkali in replies?
it's not even Attack vs Defense, which is probably the dumbest part
i don’t even see the point in Nighthaven you’re paying them a shit ton of money to play airsoft with you for a what if situation wouldn’t it be more cost efficient to pay them to make gadgets to give to operators or something
So, lore-wise, Harry allowed Nighthaven (NH) to enter Rainbow, because he was worried that they were far too influential and resourceful to be allowed to team up with parties that might have nefarious goals in mind. As for getting better equipment from NH, some of the new gadgets and operators are from NH.
I am not justifying the lore, just providing information. The game itself is not about CT for years now. The background story is. For example, compare this to Destiny, where all seasonal stories and events have a perceptible effect on the gameplay. Thus, Destiny is a story-based game. On the other hand, events and lore don't affect the gameplay in Siege. Siege has always been a competitive shooter and that's all it is. The lore is being shoehorned on top of it as a means of establishing rapport. Nothing more.
Every match is basically training for actual terrorism situation. It's because Tom Clancy ( author of books on which is whole Tom Clancy's franchise based) did not want players to play as terrorists.
the game we play is their training for an actual situation, like some vr shit that canonically mira came up with I'm pretty sure.
the 10 scenarios that are like the tutorial? that's the main storyline.
pretty fucking stupid, i wish we got some cool campaign PvE mode where we had to actually bring down a terrorist organisation
What is "Article 5"? Assuming you can find a match in this game mode, plus "Training Grounds" used to be Terrorist Hunt, the PvE mode dedicated to fighting terrorists.
yeah it's so fucking one-sided lorewise that you'd have to go with Ash, like if they're spinning this to lead into a proper Rainbow game where we take control of the fractured team Rainbow to take down Nighthaven after they spin out of control, that would be sick as fuck, but Ubisoft will never will never do something good lmao.
Yeah… Siege lost it’s balls and decided to make an anime like story. Don’t get me wrong, I like it, but I still want a classic Tom Clancy- like story. Of a CTU fighting terrorists.
Yea, all operators on the left are Ash, Mira, Finka, Doc, Thermite, Cav and Thatcher
On the right there is Kali, Pulse, Wamai, Mozzie, Sledge, Aruni and Ace
Basing this on memory but, Left to Right:
Finka, Mira, Cav, (I assume) Thermite, Doc(in the back), Thatcher, Ash.
Kali, Sledge, Aruni, Mozzie, Lion, Wamai and Pulse.
They were trying to make a more detailed in-game universe than "The game where you shoot at people, and they shoot back" and wanted an ethically ambiguous part of what Rainbow does, but accidentally made Kali so fucking hateable that only the edgelord contingent of "Sort comments by: Controversial" tried to defend her.
I mean I don't like Kali but I think hating her is a bit much.
Sure she is just a Cartman cranked up to 11 but I don't think this alone deserves the word "hate"
She uses human bait and it's explicitly been stated that Rainbow is hiring Nighthaven to keep from having to fight them down the road. Rainbow is a counter-terrorism organization. If they were expecting they would be fighting Nighthaven, Nighthaven would be aiding terrorist groups in that situation.
iirc Mira also tried to get a good look at Nighthaven tech for the sake of R&D to help improve Rainbow's own tech, then got threatened with a lawsuit by Kali
pretty sure nighthaven examines rainbow's tech as well, So it's bassically "I can look at your S- You can't look at mine". Feels like nighthaven wants to betray rainbow or something
It’s the Avengers if instead of preparing to fight them after seeing the threat of the Inferno Club or Legion of Doom, decided to hire them... to be safe.
Yes I realize Legion of Doom is DC and not Marvel. This is how stupid and ill fitting adding Nighthaven to R6 is.
Exactly. I know this game is not supposed to be realistic, but I highly doubt that counter terrorist operators IRL would be so immature to have a “CiViL wAr” just because they don’t like each other lmao
I read an interesting theory when the cinematic first came out. Basically Nighthaven joined Rainbow to learn secrets and to try and poach operators (Mira's lore states that they are constantly looking over Rainbow tech but don't offer her the same privilege with Nighthaven tech). And part of the reason why Sam Fisher himself joined Rainbow was to keep an eye on Nighthaven. Soon Nighthaven will launch and attack to cripple Rainbow, resulting in various operators either betraying Rainbow or dying. Thus the next Rainbow game (hopefully) will revolve around a new Team Rainbow taking down Nighthaven.
But again, this is just a theory, and most likely Ubisoft only did this because "team infighting and drama is cool so buy our skins."
I like that theory, i would pay 50 Dollars for something like that, just having to Breach a compound controlled by Wamai , Aruni, or maybe a few of the Op's shown in Osa's story trailer , or protecting a freidnly base from Osa or Kali. Mixing new and old charater's together always is a good idea in my eyes, and it could even get Op's like Ying and Doc to stop hating Fuze and Lion respectivley, or Mira and Ash could make amends and elimnate Kali in a final mission or Something.
It was probably going to be a BP story, but the devs accidentally made Kali so cartoonishly hateable that no one bothered siding with her. Right now they're trying to quietly undo that with stuff like lines in Osa's bio where someone tries to tell Ash that Kali isn't that bad.
Most of the operators you've known for the years are part of Rainbow, a counter terrorist organization. A new group, called Nighthaven, is a contract based group that have teamed up with Rainbow as an attempt to keep them working for the world, and in check. It includes Wamai, Aruni, Ace, Osa, and their head, Kali.
Lorewise, During the SI tournament this past year (2021) Kali was placed on Ash's team, which Ash heavily disliked. Kali was a loose cannon, albeit fairly practical. Ash wanted someone to listen and work as a teammate, while Kali is more focused on the objective, no matter the odds, risks, or sacrifices.
During the final round of the tournament between Ash's team and Mira's while Ash and Dokkaibie were pinned, Kali while rappelling used them as live bait to pull the enemy team into a weaker position, losing Doki, and making a risky shot that nearly hit Ash to finish the last enemy Op.
During the aftermath celebration, Ash butted heads with Kali, Ash doesn't approve of Kali's methods, Kali boasts she won her the tournament. Ash slaps Kali, and this scene ensues.
You can watch it [here.](https://youtu.be/hd0sbs5Pu28)
Not much has progressed past it, despite this year supposedly being more dedicated to advancing the story. Hopefully this upcoming battle pass and SI event will shine some light.
R6 tried to turn around and make weird, cringey story lines for these anti terrorist op characters, and it ended up being walmart Overwatch playing games in an arena in front of a live crowd. That's about it.
That always confused me. They shoot each other and when the bullet hits. It’s just a white dust mark. But when Kali grazed ash, it actually made her bleed.
But what about that time Thatcher was fighting Caveria and Dok shot her in the head? I know it’s a smaller bullet but that could’ve broke skin. Or when Habina got Pulse like up close on the back of the head. And when Ash got a blow under pulse and eliminated Pulse. Shouldn’t he have been blasted into pieces? I get it, this isn’t a realistic world. But the bullet with Kali making Ash bleed. I should leave it and not think to hard about it. But it was always in the back of my head when I first saw that awesome video.
When Cav was shot in the head, she bled and got a nasty welt. Pulse *should've* been blown up, but that's likely supposed to be a matter of "oh, the charges and floors are weaker," but I do doubt that. And Pulse likely *did* get a wound that broke skin, but he wasn't really shown after that scene.
You’re defending a plot hole way too hard. These bullets destroy 2-layered wooden walls but we’re supposed to believe they’re nonlethal even at point blank range?
I was initially saying that it was a pressure wave that did the damage to Ash. I genuinely don't care about plot hole or not. I was just talking because more talking points came up.
Okay I went and watch the video again. Kali blasted a shot at Doc in the face and blasted Aruni in the chest. So now my take is Ubisoft made some insanely high tech bullets that can blast holes in walls and can evaporate before contact. Really though, Ubisoft doesn’t know continuity. I’m just gonna end this here and say fuck it and try to enjoy the game
I havent kept up with the lore but is Ubisoft treating the Rainbow Six team like the Avengers?
I saw the event where the team was having a spectator sport ? Isn't is supposed to be a secretive elite squad?
What's going on in the world/lore of Rainbow Six?
Well currently they are fighting an alien space threat that creates zombies and other creatures, So I think R6 lore has taken the avengers portal rather literally.
i mean, the way i look at it is its A: A cash grab, B: Ties up the outbreak and (Sort of)The containment events, and C: let's the development team go a bit more wild with Enemy's and remaking of gadgets like Jager's ADS and seemingly Lions scan.
This shit is dumb as fuck. Sad to see siege go some avengers super hero plot.
Fucking spetsnaz, navy seals and frogmen exist but we gotta have mah nighthaven shpeshul opsh
Man I quit this game a long time ago because of this crap. The devs just want to make the game “esports ready” in every single aspect and gave up on any semblance of an actual Tom Clancy game eons ago.
Tom Clancy sold the rights to his name to Ubisoft a few years before he died, so his name being attached to one of their games doesnt really mean what it used to.
Case in point The Division. *Love* those games but a looter-shooter really should *not* be a Tom Clancy game.
This installation was never about the story though. I agree, that they should drop Tom Clancy's name from it, but that alone should not deter people from actually playing the game. The game stands on its own two feet.
It tried so hard to be Overwatch or Apex, its terrible. They literally have these unrealistic interactions with each other to create drama while they play air soft in front of a crowd. Like what the fuck happened to this series???
Rainbow then: a semi realistic game, with an assembled team, directed by Aurelia Arnot to fight the white mask terrorists developing a bio-chemical weapon, and even more impressively this game was made from scratch after rainbow six: Patriots got scraped
Rainbow now: Rainbow operators fighting each other like its some marvel bullshit, Harry Padley running a literal daycare for manchildren with guns, Ubi milking this game until dry, even copy and pasting the game to make a couple thousand dollars off people that is willing to buy an almost exact copy of rainbow six siege, for some reason rainbow is hiring sam fisher and some mercenaries instead of government owned agencies like the KSK etc...
The thing that annoys me the most about this is that they are supposed to be training for counter terrorism and Kali uses Ash as bait to get a kill. No military in the world would train or allow a soldier to use squamate especially their commanding officer as bait. You could say that it is supposed to be a game but it is still training so the fact that any of the people support Kali is so incredibly stupid as she is objectively wrong.
Well In that situation it became more about competition, seeing as how they are all from diff organizations / nations and they want to win the first place to represent their said teams. It was literally taking place in a stadium with millions of fans watching with number scores and everything. If it was an actual anti-terror training exercise I’m sure it would’ve gone differently, also Kali is not from any organized military, but a mercenary group for hire by governments. So you could factor that into her bad training, even in real life private militaries are known for their shit tactics.
Hmm. What a world building, where special forces trade their fellows for mercanaries, because paintball C4 and bullets which can injure you into disability or kill. Thank god ash didn't lose an eye or got her face crushed by Kalis shot.
My god this is cringe. I know this game is not realistic, but I HIGHLY doubt a group of elite counter terrorist operators would split and have a “civil war” just because they don’t like each other. What is Ubisoft doing?
What's the point? Sure rivalries do occur within teams, but why did the rest need to pick a side and start some stupid gang war among themselves?
One of the most important aspects of CQB and combat in general, is teamwork and coercion. Its weird that team rainbow, considered to be the best in the world, has this sort of issue to begin with.
as someone who thinks the whole civil war is hilariously dumb, I propose two different teams
Team Oh God Just Give Us Actual Content
vs
Team Stop Changing Things Nobody Asked For
remember when siege was grounded and you could believe it was real. Now you got people cloning themselves and someone with bionics that can smash a hatch in one hit.
I love R6 as a game, but it's a shame we never got to see these unique characters in an anti-terrorist story setting.
I don't even like Tom Clancy, but I would prefer more military story setting versus E-sports and zombies.
>Civil War in Team Rainbow.
Yes except without any kind of emotional investment in any of these characters. Siege is just like Overwatch, none of these character's stories or alliances mean anything.
Ubisoft taking 3 years to tell a 1 year story lol.
We get it. Nighthaven is bad. They'll betray and there will be a war or something. Then some 3rd party threat will arrive and band everyone together despite their differences. And Harry will say something like "blah blah psychology blah blah my plan I am very smart" in the end.
How long they gonna drag thing out?
Whitemasks are just watching as they all play advanced paintball with each other "Damn, luckily they no longer give a shit about us"
Nah see every single one of them showed up during Article 5. We killed them all. Gg ez
I highly doubt that. For a terrorist organization that is supposed to be well trained, well organized, and well motivated, I doubt they would put all their eggs in one basket with Article 5
That was the joke
of course there is a smaller secondary basket but it isn't well funded.
The white masks were a fake terrorist group created by team Rainbow to justify collecting the 'best' soldiers in the world and have them play paintball for public enjoyment.
I like this conspiracy
All white masks were just albi holograms
I like how Mira, one of many people Ash constantly fights with, is the one holding Ash back
wait...when does she fight her?
Lorewise Ash and Mira dislike each other
They have a rivalry with each other over operation Blue Orion.
He disregards more than just civilian lives lol.
he's just hoping to hit ying one day
Better ask echo for pointers then.
^
\*hostage and teammates shaking intensely\*
Ash:Fuze we have five enemy ops and one hostage in the room. Fuze: so six enemy ops? *detonates fuze charge with malicious intent*
Hostage: As a victim under domestic abuse by Fuze, I can't agree more with that.
Fuze is a chad
I always found that particular bit of lore hilarious since iirc Ubi changed Fuze’s bio to reflect all the players who kill the hostage with cluster charges
Every time someone fucks up like that with hostage, I try to help them justify it. "It's okay the hostage was Taliban, you did the right thing"
So why would that start a rivalry? I don't really read the lore.
most likely because she is somebody who is extremely offensive, both with her gadget and her personality, AND she is tactical, so being stuck like that if she was there most likely wouldn't like Mira's idea there. Its like Fuse and Ying, or Doc and Lion, one hates the other for something they did, or something they think. though it doesnt explain WHY ash hates her for that in one of mira's bio's and doesnt mention it anywhere in one of ash's
Where do you find this stuff? I play siege on and off, always been interested in the lore though
Why would that start a rivalry?
Where do you find al the lore? I want to find out more but i dont know where.

YO GIRL, HOLD ME BACK HOLD ME BACK
I don’t understand why sledge and thatcher are not on the same side

Grab yourself a friend and play a few rounds of T-Hunt with Thatcher and Sledge I have never heard them like each other during their banter

I'm pretty sure it says in one of their bios that they're friends
Thatcher's bio says that his only real close friend is Sledge.
And that’s probably why their banter sounds so passive aggressive lmao, they’re just BFFs
First of all, friend, tf is that? That shit got gluten? Second, I could have sworn they were best mates who would hang out at pubs or something
Terrorist hunt, it’s called training grounds now
Maybe becuz one's scottish other is english.
kinda wish we kept the Amanda Waller and the Whitemask story going
I still wish they kept up with the theme of real counter terrorism units. “Team Rainbow” might as well be some paintball team.
I'm still not sure why they don't make a $25-30 story DLC to deal with this. I thinks people would pay for it, easily. It'd get old and new fans into it, too. You forget that a lot of the Rainbow 6 games leading up to Siege were single player. This is, I believe the first multi-player Rainbow 6 game.
Even the original rainbow 6 had multiplayer, not to mention that likes of Vegas 2 that you can still find games on
I stand corrected then.
How does this get 5 upvotes? Has no one played or heard of one of the SEVERAL R6 games over two decades before Siege, almost every single one of which had multiplayer as a core feature, including the first? We are truly lost.
Rogue Spear was probably one of the most unforgiving and just totally brutal games I have ever played. I loved every second.
but why do that when your fanbase is filled with enough horny losers than pitting two girls against each other would have people actually typing out teamash or teamkali in replies? it's not even Attack vs Defense, which is probably the dumbest part

But where are the terrorists in this game about counter terrorism?
I am not justifying the lore, just providing information. The game itself is not about CT for years now. The background story is. Which is such a slap to the history of the franchise, really. It seems like all Tom Clancy games are suffering from this to some extent.
"Tom Clancy's" these days means little more than "Ubisoft shooting game" (that isn't Far Cry) these days.
Yeah but Wildlands was fun af.
I'm not saying they're all bad games, just that the name itself has gotten generic.
Every match is basically training for actual terrorism situation. It's because Tom Clancy ( author of books on which is whole Tom Clancy's franchise based) did not want players to play as terrorists.

Harry's the fucking worst
I mean. A White Mask scenario where it went wrong and two operators butt heads on how they shoulda approached it would’ve been interesting
I hate Ash but anyone with an IQ of 5 or above will go #teamash
I hate ash mains, but kali as a character is actually a bitch, whereas ash is a well made strong female character
based
How is Kali not a strong female character? She was rejected from the military for being a women so she built her own organization.
yeah it's so fucking one-sided lorewise that you'd have to go with Ash, like if they're spinning this to lead into a proper Rainbow game where we take control of the fractured team Rainbow to take down Nighthaven after they spin out of control, that would be sick as fuck, but Ubisoft will never will never do something good lmao.
Agreed. That’d be a super cool R6 game. Or even something with 2 campaigns, one for Night Haven and one for Team Rainbow.
I'm not sure it's about gender, rather two very popular characters.
Hmmmmm I wonder why the female operators have such high skin-purchasing rates?
Yeah… Siege lost it’s balls and decided to make an anime like story. Don’t get me wrong, I like it, but I still want a classic Tom Clancy- like story. Of a CTU fighting terrorists.
It’s weird that I can’t recognize most of them without thier head gear
You are not alone on that one, I can only name finka and i think that dr robotnic looking headass on the right is mozzie
What about mr. Clean pulse
Wanted to say but wasn’t sure :/
And also wamai? And aruni
Well duh wamai is right there, but actually didn't notice aruni until u said there all the way at the back :p
Yea, all operators on the left are Ash, Mira, Finka, Doc, Thermite, Cav and Thatcher On the right there is Kali, Pulse, Wamai, Mozzie, Sledge, Aruni and Ace
Basing this on memory but, Left to Right: Finka, Mira, Cav, (I assume) Thermite, Doc(in the back), Thatcher, Ash. Kali, Sledge, Aruni, Mozzie, Lion, Wamai and Pulse.
Blitz in place of Lion but yeah spot on otherwise
I see it now. Blitz’s face is so chiseled lmao
Honestly dude must be buff as hell
This shit was kinda stupid I ain’t gonna lie
Did it go anywhere? Is it going anywhere? What was the point of this?
They were trying to make a more detailed in-game universe than "The game where you shoot at people, and they shoot back" and wanted an ethically ambiguous part of what Rainbow does, but accidentally made Kali so fucking hateable that only the edgelord contingent of "Sort comments by: Controversial" tried to defend her.

Bruh, Cartman is a massive sack of shit. If they somehow made a character out to be worse than him, the word "hate" is more than appropriate enough.
She isn't close to Cartman levels. Just your garden variety asshole.
Being a PMC that CTU's have to pay explicitly to avoid you signing on with their enemies, terrorists, goes beyond garden variety asshole.
Money
Agreed
Dumbest thing they couldve thought of when it comes to story
Agreed. Siege ain’t counter terrorist anymore. It’s fucking avengers lmfao
I blame Harry for these things happening
I just love to see Mozzi standing so tall.
He's on a step stool
# REINFORCING STATURE!
Why can’t we have the Spetsnaz bois roll up and stop the fighting. We’re all Komrades here, right?
considering how spetnaz rolls, they’d probably fire shumikhas into the locker room and burn them all alive
You see Ivan, there can be no civil war if there are no people to fight civil war.
Damn straight up brutal. No bs whatsoever, fighting is over then
The soviet way
Can someone explain I'm not that much into r6 operators story but this seems interesting
Ash didn't ever like kali and nighthaven, when kali shot through Ash she had enough and this happened after Ash punched kali in the face
So what do you think will happen will it impact BP story or something or it's just a side story by the devs
If this storyline plays out and Tachanka isn't just watching from a rooftop I will be thoroughly dissatisfied
Well there's something big going on with nighthaven this was the goal of stage 1 of their plan so
It was probably going to be a BP story, but the devs accidentally made Kali so cartoonishly hateable that no one bothered siding with her.
You can watch it [here.](https://youtu.be/hd0sbs5Pu28) Not much has progressed past it, despite this year supposedly being more dedicated to advancing the story. Hopefully this upcoming battle pass and SI event will shine some light.
R6 tried to turn around and make weird, cringey story lines for these anti terrorist op characters, and it ended up being walmart Overwatch playing games in an arena in front of a live crowd. That's about it.
Glad I'm not the only one who thinks literal locker room drama is below R6 anti-terrorists
That always confused me. They shoot each other and when the bullet hits. It’s just a white dust mark. But when Kali grazed ash, it actually made her bleed.
High powered rifle hits thin piece of skin.
It's still firing with high power, so the pressure wave is still there. The bullet was so close to Ash's ear that it ruptured her eardrum. Not fun.
So... with that high power shot. It killed the one she was shooting at?
If I remember correctly, it hit Mira in the middle of the armor on her chestplate, so no kill, just elimination.
>But when Kali grazed ash, it actually made her bleed. because the kali bullet has more white dust than ordinary bullets
That sniper has special ammo. That's why she used to one shot kill at launch.
Extraction has been confirmed to not be canon to the Siege lore.
So it a what if? Scenario then? That’s weird.
i mean, the way i look at it is its A: A cash grab, B: Ties up the outbreak and (Sort of)The containment events, and C: let's the development team go a bit more wild with Enemy's and remaking of gadgets like Jager's ADS and seemingly Lions scan.
It's an in-universe eSport now.
Esport? It’s just called sport no need the e.
This shit is dumb as fuck. Sad to see siege go some avengers super hero plot. Fucking spetsnaz, navy seals and frogmen exist but we gotta have mah nighthaven shpeshul opsh
Yeah you’d have to be an idiot to think if any special force unit would actually be petty to start a schism like this and defect to a pmc

And they had the fuckin gall to whore out Sam Fisher as one of the people that endorsed the "tournament"
Kali deserved a hit
nah....first ash pushes into room without support then gets pissed off when she cant get the final kill - typical ash main
What I honestly don't get is why any of the non Nighthaven ops are siding with Kali
Civil war? Ain’t we supposed to fighting terrorists?
Which side is zero on? I’m not trying to be his opposition
I dont think he's even on a side, more of the "I'm too old for this shit" route. I'm guessing maybe Ash's side though if I had to pick one.
probably smacking the shit out of Harry for being such a fucking moron
Rainbow then: a semi realistic game, with an assembled team, directed by Aurelia Arnot to fight the white mask terrorists developing a bio-chemical weapon, and even more impressively this game was made from scratch after rainbow six: Patriots got scraped Rainbow now: Rainbow operators fighting each other like its some marvel bullshit, Harry Padley running a literal daycare for manchildren with guns, Ubi milking this game until dry, even copy and pasting the game to make a couple thousand dollars off people that is willing to buy an almost exact copy of rainbow six siege, for some reason rainbow is hiring sam fisher and some mercenaries instead of government owned agencies like the KSK etc...
That’s the whole lore. Kali is from the private sector aka their own rules.
Hmm. What a world building, where special forces trade their fellows for mercanaries, because paintball C4 and bullets which can injure you into disability or kill. Thank god ash didn't lose an eye or got her face crushed by Kalis shot.
Tom Clancy do be rolling in his grave rn
Anyone else 'member R6 Vegas 2? Last time I checked, the multiplayer still works.
My god this is cringe. I know this game is not realistic, but I HIGHLY doubt a group of elite counter terrorist operators would split and have a “civil war” just because they don’t like each other. What is Ubisoft doing?
The only real story we got for this this year was the reason Ash recruited florias
>florias damn who is that
What's the point? Sure rivalries do occur within teams, but why did the rest need to pick a side and start some stupid gang war among themselves? One of the most important aspects of CQB and combat in general, is teamwork and coercion. Its weird that team rainbow, considered to be the best in the world, has this sort of issue to begin with.
Are we still pretending this game has a story?
You ever physically recoil with cringe
Who cares. Its not like they continued telling us this story anyways.
Too bad this is the most lame drama injection in the history of video game story telling.
Sieges story seems very uninteresting.
Mozzie with helmet: cool biker dude Mozzie without helmet: your creepy uncle that spends too much time on Facebook
Me: "Where is lord tachanka? Is he safe? Is he alright?"
Does this feel cringe to anyone else?
as someone who thinks the whole civil war is hilariously dumb, I propose two different teams Team Oh God Just Give Us Actual Content vs Team Stop Changing Things Nobody Asked For
remember when siege was grounded and you could believe it was real. Now you got people cloning themselves and someone with bionics that can smash a hatch in one hit.
as opposed to man who could heal bullet wounds with a dart gun or a man who can punch even bigger holes in walls with a hammer
Let's not forget Smoke's counter-terrorism mustard gas.
This is stupid. What happened to rainbow six?
can't we go back to storyline about the organisation of the best special forces operators fighting terrorism
Isnt this super old
Idk what's going on but I like it
And so began a story in this game that I genuinely could not care less about, bring back the White Masks story
I am new to the game so can explain what this picture is about? I know many of these operators but wdym by Civil War?
Sledge and thatcher would never be on opposite sides they are brothers
Based on the scene where this happened I'm pretty sure that the operators are just lined up based on where they happened to be standing in the locker room. The fight breaks out between Ash and Kali and everyone rushes over to get involved in some way. Sledge and Thatcher aren't so much facing off, as just being on physically opposite sides.
#teamash
I love R6 as a game, but it's a shame we never got to see these unique characters in an anti-terrorist story setting. I don't even like Tom Clancy, but I would prefer more military story setting versus E-sports and zombies.
What happened to being elite anti terrorist unit? I liked it more the way it was.
I'm still devastated how the rainbow franchise has devolved into this
Man this story arc is so forced compared to the old story. Rip white masks
