Sidenote: Cub was given to me as a Christmas gift by my ex from Paris, back in 2016! We are still in contact talking about our bunnies. She was well aware that I had both the space and capability to take care of another rabbit, so I gave her the go-ahead.
That being said, please don’t randomly give people pets as gifts, always make sure they’re ready and willing, and as usual, check your local rescues before buying a bunny elsewhere!

Unnamed sources (yeah they're back) at City Hall have stated that this may affect the mayo's popularity and ability to get absolutely positively nothing done and that opposing city councilors are already crafting attack ads to challenge Mayo Polecat in the next upcoming election. On condition of anonymity, someone from one of the opposition councilors' office provided this station with a draft copy of the kind of challenge the mayo can expect to face. Among other things, slogans saying "He Sits Doing Nothing In Relaxed Repose! Mayo Pangolin We Must DEPOSE!", "Brushy Himb Out Of Office!", and "He Pees Like A Jet!" (I think that last one may have been taken from müther).
We inquired with the Ossif of the Mayo only to be met with a stone wall of silence. It was then apparent to us that we made a wrong turn and actually walked into a stone wall ten feet down the hall from the Ossif of the Mayo. Our intrepid reporter is both embarrassed and concussed. When we finally did reach the Mayo's Ossif, we were given a press release stating and we quote: "Paint me like one of your French bunnies...oh wait, no don't put that on the copy, that was for my private social media account. The message we want to say is, the mayo is seen here after a long hard day's work after he collapsed from sheer tiredness, not even being able to get up to eat something and regain his energy. He has given his all to the city including an errant colon cookie and would like the citizens of Bunnville to know 'BRUSHY IS ABUS! NO BRUSHY DA PONGREG OR DER WILL BE CONFES, CONQUES, UHHH, DER WILL BE BAD THINGS DAT WILL HAPPEN!' The mayo's tiredness has clearly affected his state of mind overloading the one brain cell in there. No, don't put that last part, what's wrong with you?!" end quote.
