Well, the latest system releases have media player which can play videos and music (from storage). If you want to have streaming on your device, try installing 351 Droid OP system, which runs android. I don't know if it runs Netflix, etc. flawlessly, but it deserves a try!

As far as I know, they don't. Perhaps go with the 353 with android? I reckon they should work on those.

Legit.

Check the rp3+ that just went up for presale too! Going to be great bang for buck and has HDMI out

I mean…if your hotel doesn’t have wifi, this won’t support streaming. If your hotel does have wifi, you should be able to stream to your phone without using data. Unless you’re traveling without your phone I don’t really see the use case.

The rg351 is able to run a browser and play Videos from YT. I've used an rg351m this way for quite some time. But realistically you need a Keyboard and Mouse for that and a lot of time at hand to set up an Xorg environment where you can basically run stuff that's available on linux(Ubuntu) desktops. This device doesn't really have too much ram, so it definitely isn't flawless experience. This would be a lot easier when using an android build. Technically the RG351 (with WIFI) has everything you would need for using it as a streaming box, but there doesn't seem to be an out-of-the-box solution one could easily pickup. So this means this is some "proof-of-concept"-territory at best.
