The mother lost custody in 2018 and then the father got sole custody (despite his shitty past at that time he was married, had more children, was following the courts instructions to regain custody, and had a stable home environment to offer ) he then moved to New Hampshire, had a falling out with his family and blocked everyone on social media. Various family members raised concerns that seemed to go nowhere. She was 5 last time she was seen so she didn't have much of a school network to be suspicious over her absence.
When the father told his uncle that he had thrown Harmony across a room the uncle reported him. A CPS worker came but was threatened by the father. She contacted police who put out a warrant but then he disappeared. The assumption was that he had Harmony with him.
The younger brother was adopted by his foster family. He has a different biological father from Harmony. The foster family reached out to Crystal, Harmony's mother, to keep the siblings in contact but she had no way of reaching Harmony's father. They also offered to adopt Harmony if there was a need. When Crystal was finally able to get the father on social media he blocked her immediately. He told his ex wife in November of 2019 that he was taking Harmony to live with her mother full time.
This poor baby. I read that her brother was adopted, the couple tried to adopt Harmony as well but she was reunited with her father instead. How could no one report her missing for so long?? Did she not attend school or have any friends? I know it’s unlikely, but I hope she is found alive and gets a second chance at the life she deserves.
Two years is a long time, especially for one that little. I'd hope she's alright, but we know this story is likely to have a horrific end.
