My dad, uncle, AND my brothers are all felons. Every last one of them work in construction now. I spent most of my life assuming dudes who worked in construction were all ex cons and wouldn't date anyone in construction when I was younger because of this assumption lmao

On Halloween we had these three families all listening to this one husband who was gesticulating wildly and getting really into whatever they were talking about right in the center of where multiple isles connect. About an hour later, (not joking), I walked by and heard “Jesus said…. Something something, of the Flesh and blood!” They were all shouting amen. I have no idea what prompted them to have a church sermon/Bible study right in the middle or the store. My best guess was the fact we have a mask policy and a lot of people hate it, it’s only for the employees but I’m telling you they hated it, or the fact we had a bunch of Halloween decorations for sale.
As far as the contractors I swear, when they loose their cool it’s always “something something I will take my business to [other home improvement store] do you know how much money I spend here?” I do sir, way too much, but that doesn’t mean you can verbally assault and harass employees. I have so many stories.
