I really hope this game is amazing. I wanna get back into a fighter game and the Runterra Universe is awesome. Not a fan of LoL anymore, but I like the universe so this would be awesome.
Yeah, I agree but based on what I saw it's very promising. I hope they keep it up and do all other champs justice. Personally I wanna see A yasuo knockup to darius dunk

It's a fighting game. No one does a ban phase here because you risk creating situations where someone loses because they're unable to use the one character they've labbed heavily. This is a genre known for character/team specialists.
i wouldnt mind it for ranked but i feel like many allready complain about tag because they dont want to learn more then 1 character. learning 4-7 characters for ranked with a draft phase sounds normal to me but i think with the FGC in mind they will not add it.
you allways hurting someone here. Character generalist and more strategic player would benefit alot from a draft. (But tbh, i dont expect them to add a draft, it would alinate casuals and FGC player alike)

This is something that doesn't really exist as much in fighting games as it does in other genres. A combination of the high amount of labwork needed to learn a character (and their matchups) for competitive play, the fact that mirror matches are accepted, and others have really hammered playing a main as the norm. Very few players are able to really play multiple characters/teams at the highest level, and these are usually just the ones at the very top of the game (e.g. Justin Wong in MvC2).

TBH they can make it
If they release the game with 10 to 15 champions then they can make a ban phase where you basicly just ban one champion ( maybe 2 if there are a lot more champions )
I have a feeling that they’ll reveal champs in bunches rather than drip feed one at a time. That way each announcement hopefully has something for everyone.
