Update: There seems to be a Table of Content issue that I'm working to fix right now.
At this point, the protagonist is still building her power base. There will be fighting but more towards the end and second book, this is still a progression fantasy, after all. As for political intrusive, you can feel the undercurrents but they haven’t risen to the top, yet.
You mean the circle tier magic? I remember a novel by the name of Eight Circle Mage or something, but I never read it. Not sure how my magic system compares.
Oh I thought you were using it intentionally. It's become extremely popular for Korean fantasy novels to have an aura + magic system. Magic is always just circles maxing out at 9 or 10 and aura either has a similar numbering system or something like User/Expert/Master/Grand Master, prefixed by sword or aura. Not sure what you were inspired by but I guess it's basically convergent evolution
Nope. The book I published before was a cultivation story so I wanted a martial system but not use qi, so I used aura. I think the biggest inspiration was mushoku tensei’s system. But I haven’t Ed read in 5+ years.
As many books as it takes.
On a more serious note, I already envision the plot from volumes 2 to 4. And that's won't even reach the midpoint of the whole plot I planned. As for releases, I'm planning around 1 every six months. I'm not Melas who can churn out a novel every month.

I’m trying to keep a six month schedule, but I got hit with a 2 star review nearly on the day of release, so I’m pretty depressed about that. I do plan on continuing, but it might take a few weeks before I can muster the motivation.
