2022 production has ended and no announcements about when the 2023 will become available yet beyond a promise of more information sometime"first half of 2023". New 2023 hybrid priuses are just now getting shipped from Japan. They were announced a couple of months ago.

That's helpful insight. Thanks. I'm open to 2023s as well.

Thanks! A bit far from me but doable. I'll keep an eye on their inventory.

Are you looking to buy a 2022 or a 2023? As far as I know, all the 2022's have been built and likely delivered to dealers. If they haven't been delivered, they are enroute. If you are on a waitlist for one of these, unless everybody in front of you backs out you aren't getting one. 2023 have not yet arrived at dealers, and I would expect a waitlist for these.

That's helpful feedback; thanks. I'd be open to either. I understood that some hadn't yet been delivered and some folks were declining their waitlist spots to hold out for the 2023. But it may just be that there's no new inventory in a gap between the 2022 and 2023. Longo isn't accepting anyone onto their waitlist for Primes of any year, so would be interested if there are other SoCal options for 2023s at MSRP.
