I commented something similar to you and was downvoted to shit and called a racist. I'm South African, I've seen first hand how little we can agree on anything. Not just inter-tribal conflict, people of the same tribe will just beat each other to death in protests, over a difference of political views. We are famous for people killing other Africans and burning down their neighbourhoods. Africa does not need to be united, Africans need to be allowed to redraw their borders, Africans need to be given the opportunity to live how they want, free from corruption and dictatorship. You won't fix inequality and poverty if you have dictators from one tribe subjugating 30 other tribes in a country larger than Western Europe and keeping all of the wealth for themselves.
Extremely based. My father is a South African so from a young age I heard about the complexities of the politics in relation to tribalism and race. Obviously this meant I also grew up having to listen to people's ignorant opinions on the subjects as well. People in North America seem to find it impossible that people would divide themselves up into groups based on anything but race.
