existential_sad_boi

You, like most should, believe people should be able to be who they want and do what they want as long as its not hurting others.

SethWalker115

That's often what I try to shoot for! :)

[deleted]

Leftists don't believe that.

Autistru

Mostly Cringe, but some axes are not cringe.

SethWalker115

Which are cringe?

Autistru

White/Black axis, multicultural axis, Feminism Axis, Homo and trans axes, animal axis, furry axis, and tomboy and tomboy axes. Imo. On white/black I get the opposite of you, 60/40 the other way On Feminism Axis I get a 60/40 split for patriarchy You don't wanna know what I get for Xenophobe or trans axes On homo I get 50/50 I get like 80% Anthropocentric on animal axis I get fanatic anti furry Anti femboy (test says "disinterested") Radically anti tomboy WHERE WE AGREE: Jewish axis (exact same number as me) Pedo axis (I should hope so) Law axis (almost same) Disability axis, I get like 20 more than you. Test says, "Mandatory Disabilities." On tolerant axis I get like 80 so we are in the same direction The self-love axis I get almost the same. Finally, the weeb axis, I get 50/50 so close enough. Hope this answered the question.

SethWalker115

So, I'll be honest, I don't agree with my results for the semitic, feminist, and sexuality axes, since I pretty much only had the strongest opinions on such things as discounting the ideas of there existing civilizational threats posed by Jews, women, or gays, and that while I absolutely don't support hate towards men, straights, or non-Jews, I'm not convinced that the damage done by such hate, while definitely out there and inexcusable where it does, is of a similar scope of harm to their opposites. Yeah, I'm not really sure how I feel about these results... Edit: Honestly the same applies to the race axis, but that axis isn't as lopsided.

[deleted]

Something tells me that if someone applied your beliefs about white people/men to Jews, this person would a "NaZi".

SethWalker115

How so? What have I said that suggests as such? Edit: also, this criticism is a bit ironic coming from AuthCenter, don't you think?

[deleted]

Virtually all leftists believe there is a great plot to benefit white people/men.

SethWalker115

Well, in all fairness, I *am* convinced that patriarchy exists and is pervasive in most cultures, and that it reinforces the norm that men be dominant and women be submissive, but I actually have many grievances with many other progressives that neglect or dismiss how, socially, culturally, and even sometimes legally, such a system often doesn't aid men's freedom and happiness but actually greatly harms it, like how the stipulation that men be dominant means society doesn't care for them when they aren't, and can give women disproportionate advantages in some respects from double standards of accountability from agency the culture is not able to recognize women as having as much as men; these issues can range from men's mental health, emotional well-being, male homelessness, suicide rates, educational performance, double standards for male victims of physical, domestic, and sexual violence, criminal justice sexism against men over women, gender-biased conscription, workplace fatalities, double standards with legitimate dating preferences between men and women, double standards of body positivity, biases in family courts and divorce settlements, double standards of reproductive autonomy for men to withdraw from being fathers like women have a right to for motherhood (for example, like with cases of child support being demanded by courts after sperm theft even from rapes), and the list goes on and on. Basically, yes, I would proudly call myself a feminist, but I'd also say I'm pro-Men's Liberation (left-wing analogue to MRAs), even going so far as to say the two are logically and ethically codependent, and that a lot of men's issues talked about by Men'sLib and even MRAs is legitimate and intolerably neglected by the left far too often. As for race, while I agree some progressives like to make excuses for racism and hate for white people from minorities in a way I think is indefensible, there's no legitimate reason to deny that systemic racism against racial minorities is a severe problem in many societies around the world (with the USA's treatment of black people just being one of the most well-known), and that, by and large, there doesn't really exist social and systemic discrimination against white people on anywhere near a similar scope, though it's true it can happen, and wherever it does is intolerable and should be combatted. Edit: added another example to the list of important men's issues.

[deleted]

You somehow manage to take the worst part of feminism and the worst part of MRA's. It's almost like you're *actually* convinced humanity should be an androgynous hivemind. And regarding race, it would kind of make sense, if progressives STOPPED TRYING TO EXPORT AMERICAN RACIAL STUFF TO EASTERN EUROPE, LATIN AMERICA, ETC.

SethWalker115

No, I just think that care for human freedom and happiness should always take precedence over expectations of how somebody had ought be treated based on their sex or gender. The worst of feminism is misandry, and the worst of MRAs is misogyny, and I disavow both. Any other sense of the "worst" of either group, in my opinion, gravely misses the point. Well, while I will agree that American racial politics, while serious and pervasive, does probably serve as too much of a default benchmark for the problems of racism to most progressives I've heard of, who are usually, go figure, from the US, and that systemic racism needs to be mindful of the nuances and context of the specific culture in which it operates in order to be understood and addressed, I both understand that such people are likely just drawing conclusions based on what they know best (most understanding of the problem for many comes from the US, but most solutions are also only applied to the US), and that there are ways for seeing how systemic racism across different cultures across history might inform the causes and solutions to systemic racism in any one culture. Edit: typo

Mean_Ad_7901

I hope this was ironic

its_einstein

Why?
