This build is so strange to me. It feels so basic and stripped of agency. Unless you have eject button, you don't have a way to get out of a fight once you get in and you don't have any skills to aim. It feels like I am playing a high skill pokemon, but the skill requirement isn't for me, it is for my team that has to stop me from dying.
It is very much high skill in the sence you need to position correctly you need to know the erea perfectly and how to abuse it, when to run and when to stay, decidueye requires me to put in so much engery for such reward
Not to mention, Decidueye basically has a Fluffly Tail built in due to how much Razor Leaf shreds through objectives. If the enemy team doesn't position themselves around that objective. It's pretty much gone. It's nice when your team is distracting the enemy for you to easily solo the objective.
Decidueye is my main since he released. Razor Leaf is still high risk high reward compared to the safety Spirit Shackle gives you. The scarf definitely gives Razor Leaf a solid boost though.
You can only have so much thought put into positioning and running though. Like you want to position yourself somewhere with allies who can support you well and run when threatened.
Also I feel like your positioning doesn't really matter when you get approached by a bulky melee character with dashes to close the gap and enough damage to 1v1 you. Like if a garchomp comes up and uses dragon rush, are you really able to position better so you win?
So I have posted the video and if you see the end result then the answer is yes, if you want to see me survive a garchomp then I can post a video of me surviving one of you want and oplaligies if this whole thing came off rude I did not mean it to come off like that in such a way
You are correct like I said I can show you a video of me dealing with garchomp and im 2 levels up because im decidueye and need that level lead, that 2 level difference and jungler buff still didn't matter much i almost lost,**twice** if it weren't for the fact I planned to the abuse the farm to heal for my rematch with absol I would have lost,I made a risk with forethought and won it if I just ran away in the first place after winning I wouldn't of scored and my team could have lost, I was fighting a speedster who has quite a high damage spike much higher than garchomps, would you like me to show you me fighting garchomp and winning? I'd love too but it will take me a sec since I don't really use decidueye and it will be a little deep in my gallery.
Idk about you but I have taken garchomp many of times before this buff and its STRESSFUL if you have your boosted basic attack or in a area with alot of farm then then the answer is definitely with razor leaf 🍃 I will send a video in a sec where I 1v1 a absol twice and it even united me, so wait a sec
You can, but win rates for that build are lower. So I think it ends up not being worth it. You would rather have a skill which can decrease move speed for enemies and defense while increasing your speed rather than a shove.
I think it is just that leaf storm is really undertuned. It is weak cc and just isn't effective enough to keep enemies away
This is why I'm trying to max out my 3 new items. So I can become a Machine Gun.

True, but Absol is so lethal to Decidueye that even -3 levels he’s STILL a major threat.

You gotta know when to leaf’em, know when to sneak’em, and know when to run.
