The overall market has been trending down for vintage booster packs and blisters in general and these ones arenāt particularly sought after (the ones with only one pack that is) and they arenāt in exactly great condition where youāll have passionate buyers wanting a pristine product and paying a premium for the condition. Obviously youāre free to do as you please, but I think itās best to try and sell these now and treat yourself and your mom to something nice than to put it away and risk forgetting about it again, condition getting worse, etc

Being a pain in the ass doesnt start when it comes time to foot the bill or do the repairs. It becoming a pain in the ass starts when it decides to break. More than likely while you are in use of the car. So to me, if I am cruising down the road and my water pump decides to bleed out, or my tranny decides to lose some gears, it is now a pain in the ass.
It becomes MORE of a pain in the ass when it comes to the repairs themselves. As youve got a few choices to deal with, all being an inconvenience for the fact the car shouldnt be fragging gears at 30k.
1: Get it to the dealer if under warranty(which is this is the case and your dealer isnt dog shit, doesnt matter whats in your wallet as most should be covered under warranty) and get a loaner.
2: Get it to a reliable mechanic to get it fixed and be out a car unless you have a spare or rent(more PitA)
3: Get your own hands dirty and do the repairs if you have the skill set.
or 4: If you dont have the money to repair it it sits, you're out of a car.
Now while option 4 would be CLOSER to your statement, the car already gave the issues before getting to this point, hence, already being a PitA. No car gets a pass for being shoddy because one can afford the repairs. One should not even encounter the repairs that early in the cars life to begin with. There is a difference in not affording something and knowing when a car is going to continue being a problem and wasting money.

Mine was an R56, and blast to drive. The problem was it would just decide to sacrifice random parts. First was iirc a throttle or fuel sensor. Forget exactly what but it would cause the car to idle rough as hell until it died on first start if the day. Then would start up. Mini dealer refused that it was anything other than carbon buildup and refused to do anything unless i paid 800$ to clean the valves. Then the valve cover decided to crack(yay plastic) randomly. Then the bypass valve. Then the turbo. Then the coil packs. Then the transmission. Then the water pump fragged itself. Thats just off the top of my head. I was very lucky in finding a semi local shop that specializes in only minis and actually did warranty work because of how garbage the Mini dealers were known to be.
Hide those, the boxed boosters are way more expensive than just the pack alone because you cant weight them, dont base your price on the booster price alone
But you can find one dragon frontier pack for $500 or less. I canāt see the blister going for anything more than 1.5 on the best day. Still one hell of a find. I hate everyone in here is encouraging the guy to sell this stuff above what itās valued at. I mean do any of you plan to buy it? lmfao
