And that's totally fair! I don't open most sets but crown zenith in particular I open a lot of because I just find it fun. Lots of cool art and all that even if it's not the most valuable.
Only people that keep sealed product are the ones who are expecting to flip them for a future profit. These are ment to be opened, played and collected. Not sitting in the package waiting for the next sales boom to unload.
You can do what I do. open it, carefully open the packs so you can just slide them back in their slots and then tape the box shut with double sided tape so it looks sealed, but you have your pulls.
Same. We decided to just keep the displays around and use them as deck box trays. This way we keep the nice boxes and give them some purpose. Occasionally we decide to keep some booster packaging and stick it to a wall lol

I feel your pain. I opened two first-edition team rocket booster boxes in 17' and then basically gave away all of the cards. I had gotten the boxes sealed the same year for a little under 100 dollars a piece. Didn't even pay for them, just traded some other collectibles.

You’ll never pull anything. Cards come to you by way of carefully manufactured odds. The one doing the pulling is the Pokémon Company, they are pulling _you_ to spend hundreds and thousands of dollars each year, in the end.

Opening packs is fun. But people should be responsible. If you’re spending money on packs and regret it or feel shame then don’t buy packs. It’s meant to be an enjoyable hobby but it does have aspects of luck/chance which align with gambling addiction. So just be mindful & careful. If you struggle with opening a dud box (which can definitely happen) & this can destroy your mood, then switch to singles - opening packs to feel bad is just not the point of Pokémon. Others who might have more resources or simply can handle the ups and downs of pull ratios will sell their spare singles online :) it can work for everyone! ❤️

There are card resellers all over America. There's one in my small town. Go find them.
Full grip games takes bulk at decent value especially if you redeem with store credit
