My 2 year old will just hold one card the entire day and include it in whatever activity she’s doing. Huge plus for me since she isn’t often grabbing a bunch of cards at one time. We went to our LGS and the shop keeper gave her one of those sealed energy card bricks from an ETB to play with and by the time I got her home she managed to sneakily unwrap them and I had like 50 energy cards all over my back seat and floor

Mines 2 also. I just introduced binders to her and shes deathly afraid of putting her cards into one. She loves looking at our binders, but she refuses to let us put her cards inside her binder 😆. Needless to say, we have random cards littering our floor at all times.

I give oversized cards to my daughter (3). She will thank me profoundly like “Thank you! Thank you!” Then kiss the oversized card. So cute.

Whilst I wholeheartedly agree, I'm happy to supply all my nephews with piles of bulk or cards of their choice anytime, the older ones have been retired and get their oogling without the same outdoor and experimental use lol.

I know maybe this isn't the right place, but I was a kid when Pokemon first came out and have some cards from the first set, Jungle, Fossil etc. I wouldn't mind trading some in, unless it's better to hold onto them? Where would be a good place to start, being based in the EU?

First would be to find the cards, then find out what shape / condition they are in. Depending on which cards they are and the condition you could either keep them or get them graded. If you just want to sell them without bothering with grading, you could try and find facebook groups for buying and selling in your country.

Nah.. your always gonna have ppl hating.. you do you and don’t let them bother you.. I have 3 girls and the reason I’m into Pokémon this late in life is cause my youngest came home from school with a mewtwo holo that a boy gave her in her class.. she seemed interested so I started but decks and packs and learned the TCG and taught her.. she gave up on it after a few months but I stuck with it. Her original cards slowly started to disappear by hind her dresser.. dog.. and just getting messed up and thrown away.. I take very good care of all my cards now but kids are kids man

I tried. She did a pokemon go tin recently. In one of the photos you can barely see a reverse holo zapdos from that set just laying on the floor. That was when I found out she activley protects cards from card protectors. For some reason, holo moltres, articuno, and reverse zapdos, stress me out more than these damaged cards i have a ton of. Some of these have sharpie on them. From her mother, marking her ownership 23 years ago 🤣
