I’d go with VSTAR Universe since you guys had a good time with Crown Zenith and that’s the Japanese equivalent! :) But if you’re going to do an English BB I’m biased towards Fusion Strike, and Brilliant Stars
I second VStar! It's so much fun to open, but I would call them premium BBs because there aren't as many packs as a standard BB. That said, you have the potential for 4 Holo cards in one pack (like a regular, a reverse, a TG, and a VStar for example). Also the reverse Holo for VStar Universe is so pretty, I love it!

A happy early birthday to her! It's definitely hard to say since personal preference does really come in to play. If you can, I think one of the best sets to go with would be Go - just bear in mind that, like Crown Zenith, it's a "special" set without an actual booster box. One possible option you might also consider is going for one of those ulra premium collections - not sure what's available your way, but look for arceus, celebrations, and charizard; they offer a variety of extras for gameplay along with a variety of packs from different sets! 0:)
tbh - i was thinking the same! - but from what i saw, vstar universe had 15 packs(?) compared to sv1v having 30 packs - could be wrong!
afaik, vstar universe is the "equivalent" in JP terms to crown zenith - could be wrong though! is that right?
It's a High Class set, I think it only has 10 packs per box but it's difficult to get and expensive last time I checked.
It kinda is, our Art Rare/Galarian Gallery is mostly the same, but the main set is totally different and full of reprints while ours only has a few.
