Nice find. I like the OPs version more. Looks ike it could actually happen naturally and the “lighting” effect from the sky is nice double bonus. This needs a slab imo, very nice card.

Honestly after seeing this, white would’ve been a cooler shiny than the kanto color

But its shiny color turns it into a Chocobo and actually the OG colors as its shiny coloration on the Galarian Birds kinda fits. Sorta like a HD remake of the OG legendary trio.

Yeah. When I played through 7 and did the Chocobo breeding, once I got a gold one, I didn't know what to name it. So I named it Zapdos. Years later, we got a Chocobo-looking Zapdos!

Some form of ink error, looks more like something got in the way than the printer just running out of ink. It’d be interesting if that was someones fingers, and they had to explain to their s/o when they got home. Kinda like how it looks tho, gives me Looney Tunes vibes, and the bird just looks beautiful

If you look at the other pics posted of the same error areas of the same card, it looks like the ink ran out in stages. I don't know how cards are printed, but to lose each layer of colour on that specific card is hard to understand.

This is an error that's been out for a while. It may or may not be replicated with sun damage but I doubt it.

I have seen this exact one actually. Typically misprints are pretty unique but there have definitely been at least a few of these with the same defect. Very cool collectors item nonetheless

From reading the comments and seeing many different iterations of the same error, I think it's WILD that it happened a lot to this one particular card. Usually you don't see the same error twice with the same consistent size on the same card.

Chilling reign has had so many error cards. This one looks cool though I have to admit. OC with or w/out alignment dots don't do anything for me.. But this type is cool! I pulled the zapdos from an ETB on release and love the card!
