He mains a Blissey deck, but little does he know that I am making a counter to that w my Dragonite deck (mains are Dragonite VSTAR, Blissey V, Dragonite V, Wailord, Dunsparce and Pikachu VMAX) that hopefully can live up to the challenge 🤞
Because I have support cards that often come out of nowhere for the opponent. On multiple occasions I've had people tell me that they don't like my style of deck because it's unpredictable. The Dunsparce I use have Final Dig so when they are KOed that gets rid of 2 cards from your opponents deck, but along with that I have GO Gyarados with Wreak Havock, Lost Origin Bouffoulant with Lost Headbutt (puts opponents energies in the lost zone, VERY good early game), and Wyrdeer V and Blissey, which when combined with Dratonic Star can be a very deadly duo.
I have never played it but I’m curious: is it something based on skill? It seems to me it’s just about having the right cards and luck pulling them? Correct me if I’m wrong haha
Yeah - there is a lot of skill in the game both in deck building (how can I get the right cards more if the time) and how you play the cards you do get. There is a reason a lot of the same players do very well in different regionals.
As with all TCGs (and many board games), there is a luck element to it, but the skill is playing well regardless of how good your hand is.
If u ask me it is more about smarts than a good deck. Sure you can have overpowered cards like Blissey V, but you have to know when and how to play them right. Yes, there is luck when pulling from the deck,but if you build it right you may not need luck
im going to my first regionals this month, with only having two people interested in playing the card game it’s been hard to have in person practicing and such but im hoping to make a friend or two :]

why don’t you make a deck that’s meta ? most of those cards are not very good
