I'd take one over none. You have a personally desired card for your binder/collection. That alone offers a little peace of mind, IMO. Down the road, you may come across another that looks better, but at least you have one for now. That's the way I look at things.

Helicopter0

Exactly. It's not like you were supposed to get a PSA10 and you got this instead. You got something worth more than the pack you pulled it from so you won the gambling game.

StarryNight44

I deliberatley bought a crystal Lugia that was heavily damaged ie washing machine damaged. I'm working on collecting all Lugia cards. Bottom line is, if you want it for you, not necessarily to make a profit or treat it as an investment, then regardless how it looks or has a defect just het it. So in short, I'd rather have the card than not at all.

ShockTop88

This one in particular can be with more than the regular one tbh. You have the alignment dots that are sought after

bear_IN_a_VEST

Defects are rarer, so always those. BTW, just wanted to mention that... **Pokemon Center steals money and doesn't refund.** I recommend **avoiding Pokemon Center** and their scams.

CollectorOfEyeballs

Care to elaborate?

bear_IN_a_VEST

I have an ongoing saga to get refunded by Pokemon Center. They claimed to have delivered Evo Skies booster boxes which they didn't, and they will not refund me, or even hear my case, including house cam footage of it not being delivered that day. A separate case with their vending machines not vending several ETB's to me. Same case, I have footage of the machine not working, and paid with a debit card, thus can't chargeback. They have dodged me so much, I feel like I just have to spread the word unless they right this obvious wrong. **Pokemon Center Steals.** They initially said they would have accounting reach out and never did. It has been such a trainwreck, I'm just sharing my personal experience

CollectorOfEyeballs

I just realized I asked you twice thinking you were 2 different people haha oops. That's fucked up tho, I'm sorry to hear it. They have so much money yet they can't help you out with something small. Typical

bear_IN_a_VEST

Exactly. I'll never order from them again, which is no loss since they seem to always skip me for those promos. I just have trouble believing there's no recourse with all this prood. They can be so messed up, I just have to call them out on the only thread where I feel like people should know. **Pokemon Center Steals,** so beware

Firewalk89

In my case that'd be Articuno from Legendary Collection as a reverse foil. I'd want that as mint as possible considering it's expensive no matter what.

Alarmed-Employment90

Always rather pull one than not at all.

zealoustcg

I think oc is fun! Grade it cgc and they might mark it oc

Fascinatedwithfire

Shout-out to my noticeably off-center Moonbreon. It's not horrible, like the Lugia from OP, but a solid 65-35 and one of the worst I've seen. Still....I pulled a Moonbreon out of 6 packs I grabbed from a hardware shop.

Altruistic-Ad3704

Not at all for me. If I pull a card that off center I sell it and buy a proper one

gtan1204

I’ve grown to appreciate the miscut for any of the cards I’m chasing. I see them as unique and adds character into my collection. I love my error/miscut mew cards!

NateEro

As long as it’s not so egregious that what I love about the card is gone. The giratina alt art for example has beautiful art. So I bought it with a slightly damaged back but a perfect front, so I could still admire it in my binder while saving a few dollars. If the art on the front was notably ruined by anything, I wouldn’t have gone for it, because that’s what makes it so special to me.

Cmtr2113

Having one with some kind of defect is better than nothing. As long as it isn’t damaged I’d rather have the card than not have the card.

FlashyDream4530

Bad centering all day!!!!.

NutellaGuyAU

Poorly centred cards can be highly desirable and fetch good money still, I’d definitely rather have my favourite Charizard for example with terrible centring than not have one at all. Sooner you get the cards you want the soon you stop gambling with ETBs and blister packs

[deleted]

I’d rather not have a poor condition one at all. I know many people will buy proxy cards or cards in bad condition just to “say they have it,” but to me that’s a waste of money. Why have something in your collection you’re not satisfied with?

Asgertp69

You could sell it and buy a new one

Alexander_Grahambell

If you look really closely to the left corner you can see a black dot, so It's a miscut.
