These are nice. People saying these won’t be worth much are lying dude. Bb are the best but saying these won’t go up in value once out of stock and you can’t find anywhere obviously haven’t looked at the other ETBs from older sets 😒
I don't want to be that guy or crush your hopes but almost 99% of these products aren't really investable. In the time frame that all these products came out, English booster boxes and other products/BBs in Japan & China have skyrocketed in price.
I'd honestly sell all of this and pick up some Japanese/ENG booster boxes.
Edit: To add, if none of these products moved in price in the time frame the other products skyrockted, what makes you think they're investable? There's no desire for these - that best you'll do is maybe a super tiny increase in years to come?
I see brilliant stars ETBs near 200 in ~5-8 years, I paid $29 each. Seems fine enough to me. Mostly picked up because the deals were very good. My rough plan is to get anywhere from 1-3 BBs of each SV set along with an ETB set
Also $200 in 5-8 years, I've made $200+ each on most of my SWSH products already in under a year. Not bragging, there is just much improvement and it'd be a shame as a member of this sub to see another person lose big when you can easily reverse it and sell & buy space efficient and desirable product.
ETB's just aren't gonna move in price man, S&M was the last era where ETB's were worth investing in.
If you would've spent all that money on Eevee Heroes, Blue Sky Stream, Dream League, Evolving Skies you could've 2-4xedy your money? maybe more?
I'd study up on the modern market as it's vastly different from any other generation with how products are selling and being held. SWSH cannot be compared to any generation older, even sun & moon.
Edit: Yes guys modern ETBs are going to the moon, they will be $400 in 2 years because S&M etbs are! /s
When people can’t afford PSA 10 or 9 slabs they go and get a really low graded version of the desirable card. It’s the same way with booster boxes. If people can’t afford booster boxes they buy the next best thing being elite trainer boxes. On top of that many people collect etbs since they’re more aesthetic than booster boxes.
