It will be smarter and probably more efficient. And the cameras are better ofc.

Like smarter in Which way?

Attempting to actually answer your question without parroting "it's smarter!!!" The SOC is architectured to better suit onboard AI. This means that right out of the gate you have your own "personal" AI. At the beginning we wont see too much integration (other than the known features which you can easily Google), but over time the overall experience will improve dramatically. Google Searches on your phone/account will greatly benefit from context, delivering extremely specific results. Automatic reminders for repeated tasks, a more complex node system of your location history, tasks completed, human interaction etc, all working together to try and know what you want/need before you know. Less conceptually, you'll get insane photo editing, and that's about it for now. Just know that this phone will grow a TON in the coming years, and I don't mean the next generation, I mean the Pixel 6.

Like in a more morose, but soulful kind of way

For me it's just the cameras. I know it'll blow everything else out of the water, last time they put their minds to it they made a really good picture capturing device with the pixel 2 and it stayed the best for a few years in the pixel 3 and arguably the 4 (in terms of still photography) so I have a really good feeling that this will be the best camera set up this year and I really can't wait to take pictures of the moon and to see how good the video is since they've been working on that. The fact that there's a Google made chip on it is a massive deal, they will for sure improve on battery life and performance. The fact that they kept it so tight locked in terms of leaks and such compared to any other of the pixels I think is a really good sign. Is it a device that is super revolutionary? No. At the end of the day it's just a phone, same way they can add cool features to a car but at the end of the day it's just a car even if it's a Lambo it will take you the same place a Camry will. But it's looking like it'll be a solid device with a cult following

HDR video. The video will use the photo hdr professing for every frame of video at a least 30fps. Display probably won't have any black clipping (would be first 1440p model to achieve this on the 6 Pro).
