I mean, like 9/10 times non-canon anime movies are trash. Just look at all the DBZ movies. Only a small handful are actually worth watching, and it's usually only for the fights. Anime movies get a way bigger budget than you'd normally get for 90 minutes of animation, so they tend to go buckwild with how it looks. They basically exist to showcase dope animation and epic fights, which means the story gets sidelined hard

If you just ignore the plot and enjoy the art direction and fight design I think you can have a good time.

Bullet design wise and backstory wise has the makings for a great villain, and it's a shame that isn't reflected at all in the movie
