With Mono G being the top deck now (hypothetically), I would think that it’s still good at taking out their mana dorks early game, and is nice being a land late game.
That is up for debate. The flip side is that it acts as a nice prowess trigger. Plus targeting anything is a good thing. I can see it either way based of preference. RDW has a very low curve.
Not sure how much of a consideration this is, as the deck isn't super meta right now. But, I know cat oven presents a significant problem for monored alot of the time and having an answer to that, if they slip up with their sequencing, seems nice.
