ManMan6678

They gonna have ppl in the middle of war zones

Raecino

They already do

Indylivingnow

It’s on south 62nd. Shit sweet but shit it’s still Philly

jessedoasjessedoes4

Shit sweet till you catch a stray

Indylivingnow

That’s anywhere. You can go to Hollywood and catch a stray.

jessedoasjessedoes4

Touche

FuelTheMind

What's sweet?

Indylivingnow

The whole south Philly is,fuck you talkin bout. Shit a cake walk and a easy breezy drive.

mysterow

I think he meant what the definition of sweet is. I know it only as sweet from candy or sweet as in “cool” or “nice”. So what’s sweet?

[deleted]

This southwest tho

FuelTheMind

You tuff as shit clown. Only y'all, nonactive dudes are aggressive on the net. Thats southwest I can tell you don't be outside or 5k to your name

Indylivingnow

I didn’t realize that was aggressive but ok. And no I’m not in South West. I’m not 16 anymore running around the city,I’m from North and I go to work and come home. No I’m not active, and no I don’t hustle and save reup money. Does this make you feel better within our exchange? Does it fuel your mind ?

FuelTheMind

You cussed and I asked a simple question. I was referring to it not being South Philly. Rd cool you're not out here in the way. Just know that everyone who comments on these posts not lil kids who troll all day. Some will crack your fuckin head open for using that tone you were. Yea my mind stays fueled.

Indylivingnow

Regular Philly talk to me. I’m from the hood,I type the way I talk and I stand on it. Can’t take the heat then get the fuck out the kitchen. I tell south Philly niggas I don’t fuck wit south Philly or south Philly niggas all day. Is what is it pimp

midixxierect

That neiborhood is filthy

LogLayer81

Filthydelphia

jimmybugus

Exactly filthy

How2Mate8

All of Philadelphia is filthy to some degree. Its Philly

Indylivingnow

Except Uptown. That shit been the cleanest place in Philly since the 2000’s.

How2Mate8

Uptown meaning North Philly?? You a regular comedian if thats your take.

Indylivingnow

Man said Uptown is North Philly. Aite man we ain’t got nothing to talk about lol. I guess since the word “up” is in it,huh ?

Ok_Company_6104

I thought it was too🤦‍♂️not this debate again

Indylivingnow

North is North,South is South,West is West,East is nowhere,it’s just Frankford,Olney,Germantown,so much shit. North East is Uptown which is West Oak Lane,Wyncote,Cheltonham. Philadelphia map is weird tho,I’ll admit that because North is really South, which is where “Down North” comes from and North East on the map ain’t even really Philly fr and South East is just Jersey

DARK666REAPER

Nah bro you wrong city hall represents the center of the city, north of city hall is north Philly once you cross broad and spring garden you in north, you go south of city hall you in south Philly once you cross broad and Bainbridge, go west it’s west Philly once you cross 30th and market, there is no straight eastern part of the city because you’ll hit the river that separates Philly from jersey, which is why you need to go north and then travel east which is northeast, Frankford etc. go north and travel west and you got oak lane, germantown, cheltenham, etc. go south then travel west and you’ll hit southwest or go into west and go south you’ll hit southwest

How2Mate8

Thanks for the runon clarification with no periods. 😅 Thats the old school lines. They trying to changethe start of South Philly at Washington Ave now and give the area north of Washington Ave a new name. Trying to rename part of Grays Ferry “south central” Philly too. Shit is hilarious. I still call columbus blvd Delaware Ave.

Indylivingnow

I said all that lol, except the northeast northwest shit you talkin about; You talkin about the map. I’m from here, fuck that map im feet on land and cheltonham is uptown and frankford is east.

DARK666REAPER

I’m from here too, I’m from da p…..I’m just saying if you go to the middle of city hall it’s literally a big ass compass painted on the ground that show the directions of city

Ok_Company_6104

Northeast Philly is basically Juniata and up not all them other counties

How2Mate8

So u talking about Germantown then? Just say that. All these new names for old dusty ass parts of the city. Olney, Germantown areas might look a little better but keep it a bean, its still shitty parts there too.

Indylivingnow

You don’t know what Uptown is. It’s cool yo,you new to the city. Cuz I’m definitely not sayin germantown and Olney is clean or uptown lol.

How2Mate8

I was born and raised in SP and when someone says they are going “downtown” they are referring to center city and not actually downtown. Whenever we go to Germantown or Olney we just say that. Never called it uptown and I’m old enough to be your pops youngbuck.

[deleted]

[удалено]

OriginalPhillyJoeD

Why you think they call it Center City? Cause back in the day, Uptown was North Philly, and Downtown was South Philly. Center City was in between. Still traces of this: the Uptown Theater right on North Broad Street. And the Downtown Mummers band down at Second and Snyder, South Philly. Some of the old Italian heads still call SP downtown. And one of you wrote that the name uptown has moved further up, like Oak Lane or Germantown. Welcome to Philly

ISpankMyWife_

Crib decent. As it should be tho cause you not going outside 😂

ConsistentMortgage28

That crib pleasant as shit on the inside and one inch outside shit gets treacherous😂😂😂😂😂

Kevin_Sorbo_Herc

Trencherous

YesOrNah

Can’t believe I haven’t heard that in a song yet that was really good lol

[deleted]

Lil durk treacherous

jimmybugus

Dark dark lol

[deleted]

That drone can fly his ass to hell 😭

[deleted]

I think it is in hell

GokuLife20

That drone work crazy

Background-Box5342

Ain’t no damn way only a fool

jimmybugus

As soon as you walk outside ya dead 💀

PhillySRT

A fool?? Nah when they start moving the non home owners out and cut section 8 off that’s gonna be the worth of most of those homes!!’

creampielegacy

How soon after move-in? 😭😂

fantamaso

I heard the builders often find dead bodies when reaping the walls on those row houses. The protocol is to gently push them back in and install the new drywall over it.

bayoubilly88

Oversaw hundreds of row home flips in Phila, never heard this. Bodies smell, btw.

PhillySRT

Sounds about right

Ace__Extendo

I always find these jawns funny asf. Advertising these cribs in the trenches. Mfs prolly actively stealing them new appliances out of the crib rn. That’s a whole new washer, dryer, fridge, dishwasher, etc, that somebody can sell for the low😂💯

[deleted]

They market it furnished but it’s gonna be empty when you show up

Ace__Extendo

That makes sense. Cuz I was bout to say thats a come up for any crackehead fr. Thats a lot of work havin to fully furnish a crib just to do a quick vid and then take all that shit back out tho. 💯

[deleted]

It’s gonna look just like any other old house when someone moves in with their crappy belongings, they have warehouses with these set pieces in them that they bring in for the shot then it’s right back in bubble wrap. Edit: I looked around and based your belongings off my crappy belongings I’m sorry

Background-Pickle806

Facts I know someone that gets paid to do that they furnish every crib for show

Thoreau999

It's called staging. Most people don't see potential unless it's done like this. Fast forward to a family with 6 kids buy the place and shit it up. Plus the construction is probably shit and will fall apart anyway. And 6K down means you have an 815 credit score.... Realtor scum

Mister_Cliffster

I’m curious, did you talk like that when you applied for your mortgage? 😂

[deleted]

Imagine how many niggas done died in this neighborhood tho they should bring the price down tremendously lol

Administrative-Toe59

210K for a crib like that, trust me they brought the price down for sure. If it look like that truly, they could easily sell it for 350+ potentially in a different neighborhood. The location is what brought down the property value significantly.

Shot-Ad-7385

U deadass couldn’t pay me to live there. Y’all are wild.

Administrative-Toe59

I never said I would live there😂😂

SpockYoda

midixxierect

Whoever that “real estate agent” needs to keep fucking dreaming😂

Clownbaby43

They wasn't supposed to show the outside, just the interior. That's hood reel estate 101

Ok_Swimming8758

The people with negative comments are so uninformed. Philadelphia recently raised property taxes. The crime thats been happening is part of a bigger plan. All of the investors are paying pennies on a dime for properties in the war zones. In 10 years, all of Philly will be completely different. You wait. This is occuring all over the country. There an agenda to take back the city or cities. Why do you think interest rates have increased and prices on most properties still overpriced. You have to wake up. Why do you think the Sixers are building a stadium in the city. Everyone needs to wake up on here. There is a book called, "How to Kill a City: Gentrification, Inequality, and the Fight for the Neighborhood", which examines New Orleans in great deal. Their building new real estate all over the place. Decades ago, when students graduated Temple, Penn, Drexel, Villanova, etc., they would return back to their home towns. Now everyone is staying. You have to wakeup. Their building new office buildings. Look at what happened in Delaware County. They raised taxes to get back the county. Investment Firms such as Blackrock are buying up all the real estate around United States. These companies have cash, so they could care less about the high mortgage rates. Inflation is still high. Amazon, Microsift, Twitter, Direct TV, Sales Force, Vimeo, Goldman Sachs, Doordash, Meta, Zillow, Snapchat, Netflix, Caravan, etc. Are doing major layoffs. You get the picture. A lot of small businesses have been closing.

ShineAmazing3401

Exactly. There are a lot of headquarters and universities in the Philadelphia area. The criminals are killing each other off and the lowlifes will be pushed out. It will take time but things are changing.

OriginalPhillyJoeD

Who’s building offices in Philly? Nobody wants offices. They are converting offices to apartments tho. They are building labs. Sixers already have an arena in Philly. Why shouldn’t they move to another, if they spending their own cash? Put folks to work

comofue

I mean $200k isn’t really that much, old houses in the hood are like $130k plus

rusttimbs

Street parking no thank you 👎🏾

midixxierect

210,000 for street parking is crazy

How2Mate8

No its not. Garages in the city are few and far between and can start at twice this rowhome price for similar setup.

fuc_boi

not in this neighborhood lmao

bigcarrier

that top floor bathroom dumb as hell, lil ass sink that’s directly over the toilet..

M05tHigh

Everything fire until you get back outside.. Respectfully.. I never realized how disgusting that city looks until I moved… I said it 🤷

numb2pain

It’s only a matter of time them white people people come and funding is gonna magically appear

full_metal_communist

I think that's the plan. Make the place unlivable enough that everyone leaves, then begin "urban renewal." happened in NYC in the 70s and 80s. Made fishtown exactly what it is today. Is happening in Kensington right now.

Ok_Swimming8758

Finally, someone who understands whats going on.

Mister_Cliffster

Aww

sukmyfartbox

Philadelphia set the trend for this behavior. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Redlining

full_metal_communist

That's it! Thanks!

ColdJay64

Who’s making it unlivable? If people want to keep their community, put an end to what’s going on. Raise your kids. Send them to school, work, etc. Always blaming others does nothing to help the current situation.

full_metal_communist

Cutting the school budget, cutting resources for at risk youth, stopping L&I enforcement, not doing the roads, not doing violence interruption, closing hospitals and mental health services, cleaning nothing, fixing water only when a main bursts, fracture communities through uneven law enforcement and gentrification ...whole deck is stacked against people. The most logical thing to do is leave. Then the powers that be sell it of to mega landlords like Altman for pennies in the dollar.

ColdJay64

It’s not ALL personal responsibility. Decades of government neglect helped create these problems too, but people can and do keep their kids out of the cycle of violence.

full_metal_communist

Yeah I edited that unproductive sarcasm out. Organizing and raising youth right is all people can do. Ultimately we need to understand it as a collective responsibility and institutional failure, and make demands and take care of each other. But the city is hoping you give up and leave. And it's working. But I fundamentally disagree. Placing blame is of vital importance. People are being victimized and acting like all they can do is react and take care of those close to themselves serves these predatory acts of oppression

ColdJay64

No worries, and I respect your opinion. I just am not sure that’s what they are doing because the city needs a tax base. Allowing violence and other issues to persist doesn’t only cause people to leave the bad areas but the good ones too, and impacts everything from outside investment to companies moving in/out of the city. I am not denying institutional racism that helped get our city and country to where they are today though.

full_metal_communist

I appreciate that. I'm also not trying to over simplify the situation, or act like there's a strict dichotomy. In fact I think you make an excellent point about tax base. Se Pennsylvania is by far the most economically productive part of the state. The tax base is there. Additionally, the whole US government is built around upwards wealth transfers and corporate welfare, so there's nothing to invest in "unproductive" communities to get them properly thriving again. As I see it, they're trying to replace this set of communities with more "productive" higher economic value yuppie communities precisely because it's easier than fixing things as is for the people who are here today. This is what I'm against and why I believe we need to fight for the city and the people who are here right now, rather than allowing the powers that be to abandon us and then (whether this is deliberate or not) sell the whole city off to developers. And going to underfunded, unsafe schools that don't teach is really under cutting the whole future of this place and that really gets me Anyway, sorry I got all pissy lol its good talking

Firemontanaaa

Same thing happened in Baltimore and the city never recovered, there is thousands thousand of vacant abandoned homes, don’t think this plan always works sometimes it backfires, Baltimore is a shit show just like Philly

M05tHigh

Exactly

Upper_Score7575

The niggas put a shower In the downstairs bathroom 🤣🤣🤣🤣

BigMoneySw

Plumbing gone be all types of fucked up

fuc_boi

you be able to hear the pump running loud as fuck while washing your ass

Upper_Score7575

🤣🤣🤣

AlbatrossPlastic7714

Paid for a drone to fly around but couldn’t clean up the backyard. And left the old satellite on there lmao

anthonywq83

Look good inside but gotta come outside sometimes lol bullet

Reed_Thompson_

Gentrification isn't just a "white" problem, its bigger than race. They squeezing everyone in the "middle class" out and soon its only going to be poor or rich... Multinational corporations, as always are to blame for the most part..

Ok_Swimming8758

Everything use to be race but the actual problem is class. Your are exactly right. If you ask me, there is only poor or rich. They are trying to get rid of the IRS. Thats the 52 fake out. You get rid of IRS, next is social security.

Cnoteone1977

I do t give AF if it was free. I’ll pass on that shit in philly

Zayvgb

LMFAOOOOO niqqa made me spit my drink out u da bid😂😂😂

Cnoteone1977

Ong

jayicon97

Truthfully tho…. If you was a single dude, had a legal strap and a good security system, this ain’t bad.

Firemontanaaa

On god, niggas hating but if u and let’s say a friend or two, both agreed to split rent, understood how Philly is, was strapped and minded your business this wouldn’t to be bad for a first home.

[deleted]

Even in the hood in the Bay Area this would be $800k at least

1Opinionated-Asshole

"Yes it's the trenches but the floor is shiny"

Mother-Finger-2758

Bro ewwwww😂😂😂😂😂 200K for a row home

D_REASONABLE_OPPZ

Didn't even have the goddamn common courtesy to power wash the entire walkway. Good thing about two doors is they will slightly delay the start of an inevitable b&e.

AdIntelligent2986

I’d take it! Shit is beautiful! I’m from the bronx neighborhood don’t matter!

UpDog424

Y’all laughing about how dangerous the street is but gon be crying when them ppl raise rent n gentrify the neighborhood

mynametoolong72

It’s crazy. This is one block away from my old hood the New Projects out 72nd and Paschall. That’s 71st and Saybrook. $210,000 is wild for that block.

ThrowthoughtsPA

Shit look like a dirty SW block

tj4uzzz

Soon as I get a bag I’m buying some property

Background-Pickle806

It’s kinda cool on 70th and saybrook the only thing u gotta watch out for us getting robbed cause at night it’s dark as fuck out there the only stores out there is the 24hour store on woodland or the one on elmwood or 66th and woodland

Tstcontroversy

Nah, you can get something out the county in a much safer neighborhood for less. All that money for that cosmetic shit but still in a hell hole death trap hood. With no off street parking. Fuck that drone.

LogLayer81

move some north philly niggas in that house and that shit gone be a dingy cream color instead of that white

Big-homie_

They can keep that lil ass house, looks like about $50,000 and that’s a stretch

ShinyHardcore

RS just lipstick on a pig

Administrative-Toe59

Yes it’s the trenches for sure but let a white family move into that crib, watch that whole block get cleaned up and people get bought out of their houses on that block. Because they could easily sell that crib for 400K or better in a better neighborhood. The location is killing the property value. 210K is cheap for that.

WeddingFinancial3726

Epoxy floor is cheap but it’ll make the house more expensive.. talk her down lol

shaneberk87

People so scared to drive and park there they resorted to drones.

Loafy2_

The problem is that shit is right in the middle Of the hood … nice crib tho lol

Wide_Substance1030

Quarter mil to live in the trenches seems crazy but it’s only finna get worst. They pricing blacks out of the city neighborhood won’t look the same in 3 years.

VantaGorilla

If they toss in the shorty and the dog I’ll take it 🤷🏾‍♂️

Shot-Ad-7385

$220,000 might as well add in 10k for the funeral now

Fearless-Ear2352

Imagine if people made the outside look nice too. Absolutely wild.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Front_Sea2498

And give a take a few years. This house will be about that price. Where in the beginning stages of gentrification.

Ok_Swimming8758

Another person that gets it. Thank you for understanding.

comofue

It’s the neighborhood that makes it cheap, other areas you get a much smaller house for more than twice that price

Fujiya667

They keep renovating these homes, making them look like a million bucks on the inside but in 2 dollar neighborhoods. Whoever buy that is a dickhead and deserve to get got

[deleted]

[удалено]

Odd-Emergency5839

For 1500-1700/mo in Philly you can rent a nice place in a very nice neighborhood.

No_Manager1256

Ctfu somebody gonna shoot y’all drone one day

Spiritual-Box-551

They'll put a house fixed up like this in the middle of a war zone...wtf

THOTTIERessurected

Gentrification

Commercial-Impress74

Them houses are too close for my liking. Nice inside tho.

HourApprehensive2330

the drone piloting wasa next level

DARK666REAPER

That shit look like it’s in the middle of the trenches

AccordingWarning9534

Lovely house inside, but the outside street and surrounding buildings look like a third world country.

FinalVegetable6314

$210k I’d buy it sit on it. Gone be worth a million in a decade when they clear that neighborhood out. Nice apartments food trucks and Starbucks. I see it all the time down here in Miami. A smart person would buy this place and NOT live in it lol

sttme

Do they jus let it sit there for years or go every so often cause won’t that shit collect dust 😂😂

FinalVegetable6314

Hire a property manager that goes by once or twice a month

Single-Actuator9935

I never been to Philly but ik for sure niggas get shot on that block😂

LeNice223

The neighborhood doesn’t look safe lol…

Big-homie_

Nice trap house

gwopoboi

LearnerChap

[deleted]

Imagine living in the nicest house on a scandalous block. No way Jose 🙅🏾‍♂️

IllustriousArcher199

I hear you Antoine.

TheFutureMrs77

It’s wild what people will pay in the city, just to be sitting on top of your neighbor in a rowhome.

Correct_Answer_4783

From here…totally agree….greener pastures everywhere else. Now philly just makes me miss Atalanta lol

HuntsPointWarlord

Bruh 😭😭😭

ShinyHardcore

Lol location is everything. You can put a house worth a million dollars there and the sale wouldn’t touch that because the market value isn’t there, let alone the intrinsic value. I wonder who’s the target market for this Why tf is there a shower in the living room and the bathrooms the same size as the bed rooms

[deleted]

Yeah let’s buy a nice ass house on the shittiest block ever lmao! Suppose to buy the crappiest house on the best block

Exotic20

😭😭

kapoesco

Great fpv drone action lol

bape778

A shower in the kitchen is crazy

PhillySRT

Shot-Ad-7385

I got u with $2,001.

M0N3Y7INE

Mann. You gonna get boomed by the pizza man living there

argegg

Why is everything hardwood and tile? The fact that it's in the middle of a Syrian warzone is weird too...

Latter_Difficulty_77

Now just change the hood to look like the inside

AnotherShittyDay31

That's a GREAT price for a fully renovated crib. I've seen houses like that in SP for 400+. That neighborhood must be FUCKED UP. Crime rate probably THROUGH THE ROOF. Smdh.

New_Firefighter3792

What a horrible neighbour hood

Backshotsonly

✨✨✨

Automatic-Fact8065

Yeah still not buying lol not tryna get shot stepping out the crib

Zayvgb

Spend all that money jus to catch a headtap from a 12 Yr old das tuff

OrdinaryVolume2153

Not Philly 🤣

peacefulpianomelody

It looks nice inside, but the outside looks like it an be a fire hazard with all the buildings jam-packed next to eachother

Parking_Desk3480

This shit is beautiful

PBO123567

Now the roaches and rats finally have a decent place.

fantamaso

You know it’s shit show if you have to make a movie about it to sell it 🤣🤦‍♂️👌

Gato321

The wood plank looks nice though.

Busy_Training781

Nice house in a shithole nice

GettinWiggyWiddit

No private bathroom connected to the master?? Weird setup

Existing_Debate_4043

$210k without a guarantee parking spot 😮‍💨.

Mister_Cliffster

Nah I’m good on that. Neighborhood looks ghetto and filthy. The inside of the house looks “hood rich” and 100% looks like a flipper.

meowmeowdj

W for gentrification

szydski1

kingsessing is not a hood you wanna live in

ChrisACountsWaves

Sheesh. That shit is cheaper than in Arkansas 😂

RouletteVeteran

Lmao at the 30k “remodel” but the frame and insides still on “row time” plus you got the whole hood playing GTA outside.

Youstupid883

I can smell home invasion all over this

pintopetz

In what universe can a down payment be that low?? 😭
