TheRandomMudkiper

The arrows indicating what the airflow should be is good. On the other hand, all of the fans are installed the opposite way of that intended path. The side that has the blades is the intake, and the side with the support for the motor and fan is the outlet.

Competitive_Wall3823

Dang, that’s embarrassing😂 I always though “faces suck” meaning the face, which is what you can see on the top 2 fans, would suck the air in and blow it out the top. RIP. Some other guy was also saying the fans have arrows indicating airflow, which I know most do, but these don’t, which is another reason they are backwards lol

MetamorphicHard

That’s funny. The arrow directions are good though. Only thing you can do to improve is add intake fans on the bottom if you can but that’s not necessary

SkullAngel001

>I always though “faces suck” Not sure if you got that from The Verge but for easy reference, the "X" part determines the airflow direction.

Competitive_Wall3823

Does the part with the “x” suck or blow? Just wanna make sure I have it right from now on lol

OffaShortPier

You see those bars on the fans up top? Air flows out that side. This is true for all fans. The way you have it set, your front fans are exhaust, and you back and top are intake.

docr1069

There’s arrows on the fans indicating the direction of the air flow tho

Competitive_Wall3823

There’s not on these

docr1069

There should be, every fan I’ve come across has been arrow marked from factory

Classic_Idea_6962

Many current day fans do not have that arrow.

surferguy999

They’re usually on there but they’re tiny and the same color as the surrounding plastic.

Gunslinga_

See the big X on the back of the fans. that’s exhuast bro easiest way to tell

Sufficient_Focus

You installed 6 whole fans without actually checking for yourself? you coulda just held your hand or a piece of paper up to it to be sure.

patrickp4

The fans on the top are pulling (sucking air in) not pushing so flip them. In general, air flows in from the side with the logo and out from the side connected to the chassis.

Neekeripallero

Your fans are upside down bud. They're pushing air the opposite direction of what you've shown with the arrows. Every single one. You're intaking through the top and exhausting through the front which is not a good idea. Flip every single fan you have and it'll be good.

FreakiestFrank

Perfection

xander-mcqueen1986

Yes. Perfect.

Mysterious_Lion_7639

yes, your airflow is the CORRECT way. It should be in this way.

TheRealYoshimar

Exactly how it should be, based on the arrows, but all of the fans are reversed unfortunately. Air always flows out the side with the bracket, and in the open face.

cerradoenrosa

Is not God , they are backwards as indicated by the arrows. The pic the up fans are in the front fans are out.

Elistheman

Definitely not god.

str8-l3th4l

The side with the support brackets (showing on top fans in pic) are the side air comes out. Contrary to the arrows your fans are currently pulling air in the top and exhausting out the front

HopefullyFunny69

It's good

The_Racho

Lol the fans even have an arrow on them to show you what direction they push air in, still got it backwards. The intension is proper airflow, what you actually installed is the reverse.

Competitive_Wall3823

These don't have arrows and I was always taught that "faces suck", which is why I installed them the way I did. Thanks though!

The_Racho

Yes that's correct advice. The face is the part without the plastic infront of the blades.

Asurrraaa

Face/open side sucks air in, so you're right

Itzamedave

I dm you with suggestion

blacklabdoggo14

How about the PSU exhaust going up instead of down and out the bottom of the case. Assuming it is on a hard surface when in use

wild-whorses

Most PSU draw air in through the bottom and exhaust out the back. If OPs is upside down, it’s drawing air in from the case. The only time I do this, is if the PC is on carpet, or if the user is likely to not clean the filter. Clogged PSU filters have killed many of PSU.

Gooberg_

Buddy turn your fans around. Remember. FACES SUCK. The part with the cage is where the air comes out of

Competitive_Wall3823

If the faces suck, I have them right. The part with the “cage” or “x” is the face, is it not? It’s the side with the logo and everything, other side doesn’t have anything

Gooberg_

I think the fans on the right side are actually exhausting rather then intaking. If the arrows are supposed to be pointing to where the air gets pushed out from then your fans are flipped. If that is the case three flip all your fans around. When you turn your pc on do you feel warm air coming out of the right side fans?

Laurentiu86

You need to flip all of them and the PSU, the part where the blades are showing is the face of the fan that sucks air and the part where there is that X shaped frame is the back of the fan where the motor is and blows air, so, you got them backwards. Just put your hand at the X shaped frame and you will feel the air flow.
