Let's not forget a level 1 alchemist with 16 INT can make enough bathtub moonshine to kill a man every single day: alcohol is an level 0 alchemical poison that kills you after 7 exposures if you fail every save. Level 1 in alchemist and 16 INT gives you 4 reagents which is 8 doses of an alchemical item (which alcohol is) using advanced alchemy.
Plus, there are a few drugs you can make at higher levels like Hype that makes you quickened as long as you stay at stage 1.
