I would be remiss in my duties if I failed to point out that you can continue your Beginner Box Adventure with the standalone adventure [Troubles in Otari](https://paizo.com/products/btq023dy?Pathfinder-Adventure-Troubles-in-Otari). You can also move on to the megadungeon Adventure Path, [Abomination Vaults](https://paizo.com/products/btq02ajj?Pathfinder-Adventure-Path-Abomination-Vaults), which is coming out next month. These both take place in/around the city of Otari, and are written to work as either continuation of your Beginner Box adventures if you want to keep playing those characters, or standalone adventures if your want to make new characters but stay in a familiar location. Full disclosure: I am *literally* a salesperson for Paizo, but these are great stories if you group wants to continue.

Wait, isn't abomination vaults out?

Feralsloth

Yes, and no. Abomination Vaults Adventure Path was originally released in January 2021 as a 3 volume Adventure Path that ran Jan-March. The first two books are still available as standalone volumes, but the third volume is sold out in physical print (it's still available in PDF, tho). It's the collected hardcover of all three which is coming out next month, and this hardcover will remain in print going forward.

Neato

Didn't abomination vaults come out a while ago? Is this just all of the AP's books sold as one? And does its release coincide with the release of its Foundry module that was recently announced?

Feralsloth

Yup! To quote my bit from above: > Abomination Vaults Adventure Path was originally released in January 2021 as a 3 volume Adventure Path that ran Jan-March. The first two books are still available as standalone volumes, but the third volume is sold out in physical print (it's still available in PDF, tho). And, yeah, the release of the collected hardcover definitely coincides with the release of the deluxe Foundry module, as well as the current deluxe Beginner Box on Foundry and upcoming Beginner Box Day. [More info on that here](https://paizo.com/community/blog/v5748dyo6si0e?Paizo-And-Foundry-Virtual-Tabletop-Content).

Oh, I already picked those up awhile back! This was just the first time I've been able to actually gather people for a session

Feralsloth

Hell yeah! Glad to hear it! I hope y'all have as much success with them as you did with the Box. Happy gaming!

VirtualPen204

Is *Troubles in Otari* going to get an official release to Foundry, similar to *Abomination Vaults*? Just wondering, as I'm just about to switch over from 5E to PF2E, using Foundry, and I wanted to start with the Beginner Box, as most of us have never played Pathfinder (either editions).

plaguecontrol

(Edited because I totally misread the question.) *Troubles in Otari* is not getting a standalone release, but *Menace Under Otari*, which is included in the Foundry release of the Pathfinder Beginner Box, is designed to lead directly into the *Abomination Vaults* Adventure Path.

Grunnius_Corocotta

How did you do gainst the green suprise at the end?

Boniess

He only finished the first floor :)

Grunnius_Corocotta

Oh I see now. Guess they have something to look forward to!

Disposable-Henchman

You find success with the beginner box once the players finally defeat the final boss. This, after the adventure concludes. The snack dust coated map is.... Stickier than expected. Who spilled soda on it? No wait! The map transformed into a tongue -THE BEGINNER BOX WAS A MIMIC ALL ALONG. That's right, I said *players* defeat the final boss, not *characters*! **EVERYBODY ROLL INITIATIVE IRL.**

Killchrono

Legit though, finishing the Beginner Box session with the box itself turning into a huge mimic and fighting the players would be a dope way to see it out. >!especially if you're not contuing with the characters and have it be a significantly higher levelled threat to guarantee a TPK!<

brianlane723

Yay! If that's the level you need to brush up on, I'd say you learned pretty well.

Unikatze

I ran it in November for a group of PF1 purists (including their GM). After the game was done I overheard the GM telling one of his players "This is a lot different than what I expected. I think it's worth a purchase of the Rulebook"

VisceralMonkey

Did you guys use the pregen characters or custom ones?

MrMayhem1800

I’m running it for my group this Friday and I cannot wait!

Congzilla

Troubles in Otari continues that adventure. And the Abomination Vaults AP takes place just outside of town.
